The modern styled The Beloved Hotel Playa Mujeres is located on a pristine peninsula between the Caribbean Sea and a wetlands preserve minutes north of Cancun. This luxury all-inclusive resort resides on a two-mile stretch of white sand beach. The resort features eight suite categories with private, in-room jetted tubs, three swimming pools amid rambling tropical grounds and a fitness center. It also boasts a marina and spa. Our Vacation

Best of the Best!
This is a great resort away form all the hustle and bustle of the hotel zone. If u want to relax and be spoiled, this is the place for you. Service & Food were top notch. Never had to wait too long for anything. Were considering a Adult-all inclusive, but we were far more impressed with La Amada. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Book your transport ahead of time. We used "Cancun Shuttle (orange logo) $75.00 private shuttle round trip. They were professional, and a heck of a lot cheaper than a taxi. Remember, everything is negotiable! :)

Most beautiful resort ever.
I have no idea how people can say the staff was lacking & the food was bad. We just came back from a honeymoon from June 5-11 2011 and I can tell you this place was PERFECT! The staff was the most friendly, helpful people I have ever met. The food was out of this world, very different but very very good. The only thing I can tell you about this place that dissapointed me a little was the beach had a lot of seaweed, but they were constantly cleaning it as well as they could, and the beds were a little hard. And the location was pretty far from town, pretty pricey to get a cab to drive you to town. Other than that we had an absolute dream honeymoon! I recomend getting a 2 story beachfront casita, it was really nice. We had our own private pool on the rooftop that over looked the ocean, just perfect!

Nice place, but service needs work
The hotel is situated in a beautiful location and on a gorgeous beach. The check in process was a bit painful, but tolerable. The rooms are spacious and well laid out. The service is what really needs some attention, room service can't get anything right, concierge service is useless, housekeeping was a bit disappointing on one occasion as they only cleaned half of the room. The restaurants are horrible, but the grill outside is not bad.

Fantastic family getaway
One of the best hotels I have stayed so far. Small hotel, but with all the servies that you need, it never feel crowded at the restaurants, beach, etc. All the people of the stuff were really nice, food and drink was excellent, defenitelly worth having the all inclusive package, and all the people staying at the hotel very nice too, lots of families with kids and made some very good friends on the trip. Will definitely come back again.

Gorgeous view, Great service and food!!
Service was great, staff is very kind, helpful, polite and friendly (always service with a smile).... we didn't do much at the hotel, there were mini itineraries slipped underneath our door everyday letting us know which restaurants were available, and what other events or live music is going on .... our main focus was to get some peace and quiet to be able to relax. If you're looking for a party or many activities, this isn't the place for you because there isn't much around outside of the hotel and you would have to take a taxi to the main Cancun area. Our suite was gorgeous, the view was spectacular, and having our own pool on the rooftop was like icing on the cake..... it is a little pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for, and it was definitely worth it. We're actually considering to come back here to get married.

Dining in the hotel was great..... the food was absolutely wonderful. You won't find the typical menu you're used too, everything is very culinary ..... and presentation is a big deal here.... it's nice that it was inclusive, so that gave you the option of trying alot of different food items :)

Relaxing Getaway
La Amada was beautiful and relaxing. When we got there we were greeted with a welcome champagne and they upgraded our room for free. We stayed in one of the swim up pool/garden rooms. The staff is amazing - very accommodating and very nice! I would definitely recommend La Amada to anyone looking to getaway and relax. Great pools, beach and food!
