Great vacation

The room was superb. We had a Luxury suite. It was clean, comfortable, and roomy. Had a wonderful ocean view from our balcony. We were extremely satisfied with all the restaraunts, plus there were alos delicious restaraunts outside of the resort within walking distance. Acitivities were fun also. Will definately go back. Just beware of the time share representatives at the sister resort, Peublo Bonito Emerald Bay. Our rep was extremely rude and condiscending. He should be fired.

Excellent Service

This was our first stay at Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan. The location was very good. We like to walk alot and the beach access and street location were easily accessible. We felt very safe there. The staff was very accommodating and there was consistently excellent service, from hotel management to maintenance workers. The room was clean and had a great view of the ocean. The kitchenette had everything we could possible need. We thought Pueblo Bonito was the nicest hotel in our vicinity.

Very family friendly

The hotel staff is very friendly and their English language good. The restaurants have a variety of food and can sometimes make something that isn't on the menu. Many other restaurants and hotels are within walking distance. The beach is wonderful and security seems adequate. There are activities planned for most days at the hotel. The rooms provide kitchenettes if you want to prepare food or just heat up leftovers. Everything seems very clean and comfortable.

A beautiful resort!

We have absolutely fallen in love with Pueblo Bonito!. We had the opportunity to see some other hotels in Mazatlan this trip and none compare! We will always choose to stay at Pueblo Bonito on all future trips. The hotel is beautiful as are the grounds and beach. The staff is most courteous and accommodating and so friendly!

We found several wonderful places to dine during our stay and highly recommend El Capitano and Chili's Pepper. They both have great menu choices, very well prepared food and entertaining staff! Not to mention the great beach locations!

Great Location - Great for Families

Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan far exceeded our expectations. The rooms were good size with a sitting area, kitchenette, small balcony and view of the ocean and pool. We found the entire resort to be clean and attractive. It's not a 10+ story high rise, rather a 4-5 story nicely designed and very spread out complex. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Even though we were there during Spring Break there were ample lounge chairs and the pool wasn't over crowded. There was a long beach just steps from the pool and you could order drinks and snacks from either place. The location was excellent - on the far north end of the string of hotels lining the beach. You could walk south along the beach and catch a jet ski or parasail ride, or find one of a number of beach front restaurants. Walking north on the beach took you to a small point, more isolated from the major hotels. Although it catered to the American crowd there were a fair number of Mexican families vacationing there which we enjoyed. The food at Celantros was very good - we didn't eat in the other restaurants. The activities for children were great - games, pottery painting, basketball in the pool, volly ball on the beach. Taxis and buses are immediately available just outside the front of the hotel if you want to go into the downtown area. The only negative of our entire stay were the 5000 motorcycles who converged that week on Mazatlan from all over North America, an annual occurance, we were told. Friday and Saturday nights they were quite loud. But, supposedly it's only one week a year that they descend on the city. We highly recommend the hotel over the others that we saw as we strolled the beach and would go there again if we return to Mazatlan.

If you're looking to eat outside the hotel - walk down the beach or the street outside the hotel and there are a number of very similar restaurants. You will be bombarded by people who want to give you cupons. They're usually good for one drink.
