Great Location, Package & Price!!!
The food, drinks, rooms, staff, everything in general was great, friendly people and great customer service the whole time that I was there.

Mediocre drinks and dining facilities
This hotel was much too pricey for the caliber of the facilities. The last place I stayed in PV had a much cleaner hotel with much nicer dining options. For an all inclusive stay, I would not choose this hotel again. We ended up eating at a restaurant in the city one night and paying for a good meal. The drinks, too, were just ok. Also, we paid a lot extra (and went through a bit of hassle pinning down a hotel representative willing to help us) to have a hot tub on our deck, but it didn't work properly.

A Vacationer's Paradise
The staff makes the stay extremely fun. All inclusive is the only way to go. The drinks and food were far better than what we expected. There are several bars and restaraunts with different menus to choose from and seperate dress codes. The activities were great, there is much more than listed on orbitz, such as water polo and aerobics along with many other pool and beach sports. The menus in the restaurants are changed in order to get different choices each day. The pictures on orbitz are also not updated the hotel has been painted and new construction has made it look a ton better.

Do not pay for the shuttle upgrade through orbitz, it costs over fifty dollars for us and we could have just taken a cab which would have costed a total of 100 pesos, or less than 10 bucks. Also, when you first arrive and are leaving the airport do not buy activity packages from the people at counters, they try to rip you off by showing you time shares and selling to you. They are also more expensive and you can arrange everything at the hotel for a safe price.

wouldnt stay there again
some of the people whom worked there were nice, but we stayed for 6 nights and 4 out of those nights they were doing construction and was obnoxiously loud and irriating. room service was NOT good.

Amazing....
We went on a tour to a gorgeous beach, went downtown exploring the flea markets and sites, took the bus back to the hotel and got lost, the sea was warm, the food was good and abundant, staff was always talkative and joking. Amazing!

Honeymoon at the Golden Crown
We spent 12 nights at the Golden Crown and it was our second trip to the resort. The resort itself is very adequate with regard to facilities - decent pool, lots of eating options and a GREAT staff. We enjoyed several dinners at the two upscale restaurants onsite while going offsite for a few others. Avoid any timeshare presentations. Secret tip: we love to tip and the staff responds. Your fee for the stay includes room, food and drinks, but your tips show your appreciation for the service. Have a blast at the Golden Crown - we did!

Avoid any snorkeling trips this time of year as the jellyfish are hatching, so even though you can't see them, they still sting! Also, the major tour company that took us on a Yelapa tour failed to mention that the bulk of the day would be sitting on a boat while docked in a cove.

Great time for the money
It is a great location to lounge in the pool and consume cocktails. The food is adequate, a little better than adequate if you like mexican food. The service was great at the bars, sometimes a little spotty during the meals, but overall pretty good. The pool was nice and it attracted a friendly crowd. I would definitely return.

Have your flight arrive early in the morning because you can begin access to all-inclusive food and cocktails prior to check-in. THey have a room you can freshen up in. Have your departure late in the day on your last day and you can likewise stay until you leave. By doing so, you can add nearly two full days of food and drink and pool/beach lounging with no added cost.

Great place for the price.
We just had a bachelor party there. Everyone loved it. For the price, you can't beat it. Staff is great. It is not fancy, but for what you are paying, it will be a great time. I always meet really cool people there also.
