The cozy rooms of Hotel Kathmandu View are equipped with a private balcony and cable TV. Each room has private bathroom with amenities and shower facilities. Hotel Kathmandu View provides baggage storage at the 24-hour front desk. There is a business center with fax and photocopying services. Guests can make travel arrangements at the hotel's tour desk. The Kathmandu View Hotel is located in the heart of the Thamel District, which is convenient, but also why you might be kept up at night by quite a bit of noise, especially from bars etc. The pictures are obviously taken of the two nicest rooms, which you are unlikely to receive. The bedding was clean, but the place overall has a very worn down feeling. I don't hate this place, and the staff were friendly, but I'd be hard pressed to recommend this to anyone except as a last resort.
