The Convent Hotel Amsterdam - MGallery Collection

This hotel is not fancy but a nice, comfortable hotel in a very convenient location. You can walk to the train station, to the Frank House, to the Red Light District, to shopping and lots of nice resturants. The room is a nice size and has a comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and helpful as we were trying to find out way around. We stayed two nights and I recommend this location for people who want to be in the middle of Amsterdam and don't want to pay for a high-end hotel.

Welcome excellent and efficient and friendly concierge. Return booking on the shuttle bus on time, so no worries about late arrival at the airport. Were offered a room upgrade for another 25 euros per night, but would only have got a little more space. We were told we had a quiet room on the side, but dust bins were moved down the alley under our window at 6:00 am every morning except Sunday, then the road cleaner truck came along, then the actual dustcart, so be prepared for this. Take your hair dryer, ladies, as the one in the bathroom is useless and they do not have any others to loan to you. The lighting in the bedroom is dim, with no centre light. Rooms are ok, although the bed is not as great as everyone raves about,as you tend to roll to the edge! No evening restaurant, but plenty of choice close by. Go nextdoor to have your breakfast, for about 6 euros,so not pay 22 euros each in the hotel! Main advantage of this hotel is location, location, location. If you want to be able to walk to Ann Frank's House, the Hop on Hop off bus, canal tour, Dam square and shops, this is the hotel for you. Trams to Riksmuseum and Van Gogh stop outside.

CARPETS NEEDED CLEANING. READING LIGHT NEEDED REPLACING. TV CONTROLLER WAS IRRADIC. BEDS WERE OLD. STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL. THE WHOLE HOTEL NEEDED REVAMPING.

Das Hotel besticht durch seine Lage und die Freundlichkeit des Personals am Reception Desk. Die Haupt-Attraktionen Amsterdams sind fußläufig zu erreichen, entsprechend lebhaft ist das Umfeld. Kleine aber saubere Zimmer, hervorragende Aufbettung. Preis-/Leistung stimmt!

Bonjour. nous venons de passé 3 nuits et sommes canadiens. la localisation est parfaite. l'accueuil chaleureux et les explications afin de se retrouver au début ds la ville furent appréciées. la chambre supérieure vaut la différence de prix si vous aimez avoir de l'espace. comme nord-américain c'est apprécié. Le tapis était défraichi/sale mais la chambre était bien entretenue. Le petit dejeuner a 22 euros était delicieux et copieux. C'était un moment de plasir à chaque matin; fleur fraîche a chauqe table et deécor sobre et raafiné. Ds notre cas = 1 nuit gratuite alors c'était un excellent rapport qlté/prix. la station centrale est a 10 min. de marche. tout se fait a pied si vous êtes en forme. de plus , vous devez allez voir campagne hollandaise a partir de station centrale pour qques euros (zaan ; 20 min.) avec les moulins a vent; compter un bon 4 hres si vous visiter ds le détail. l'hotel est aussi a 20 min. de l'aéroport avec le train donc tres efficace et moins cher qu'un taxi.

Posizione eccellente, camera spaziosa, personale cordiale. In poche parole, un ottimo albergo. Ci tornerei volentieri.

hôtel très bien placé à 200 m de la gare entre la place du dam et le quartier du joordans et devant une ligne de tram. notre chambre était fort confortable et très calme ne donnant pas sur le boulevard: bien équipée,peignoir ,chaussons d’intérieur,et même une bouilloire. Le petit déjeuner non compris est à 23 euros mais vous n'êtes pas obligés de le prendre.

Excellent séjour, hôtel confortable idéalement placé. Personnel discret et attentif.

Super Lage im Zentrum, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Zentrum entfernt. Das ausgiebige Frühstück gibt Kraft für den ganzen Tag. Die erhaltenen Zimmer waren etwas klein (waren die kleinsten im Hotel), sonst gab es keinerlei Kritik. Absolute Empfehlung für diesen Preis.

Parfait c'est le mot !! proche de la gare et très proche du centre ville ! Les chambres sont nickel et le personnel accueillant ! petit déjeuner wouaw (celui a 23€) cher mais dans notre offre il était offert ! le bar de l’hôtel est original mais les cocktails sont un peu cher! Les chambres , il y a tout le confort ( thé café avec réchaud , tout le nécessaire de toilette , une grande baignoire , des chaussons et un peignoir ! bref foncez !!!
