I was pleasantly surprised to
I was pleasantly surprised to find a hotel that includes wireless internet to their clients in the room cost as the Quadrant does. This is something that helps travellers stay in touch with home and relatives. Big + from me for this, also the rooms are well organised and appointed. Very happy with our stay.

Everything was fine except there
Everything was fine except there was no air conditioning in our room which made our 2 night stay a little uncomfortable as it was very warm at that time

Clean, modern, and fun place to stay...
The hotel was in a great location within walking distance of most tourist destinations in Auckland. we walked everywhere while we were there and it didn't seem like too much effort. There were great views from our room of the harbour and Auckland University. The hotel also felt pretty safe because you had to scan your hotel card in the elevator to gain access to your floor. Overall a good experience.

Walk in Auckland don't drive. It will save you time and money trying to find a place to park in Auckland and you'll get some excercise.

Our only diappointment was that
Our only diappointment was that we had to pay $25 for parking. The staff was very helpful and accomadating.

Hotel seemed ok, but it is a little
Hotel seemed ok, but it is a little bit of a walk from the centre. the hotel staff were friendly but not very knowledgeable. The spa/sauna was constantly full & was not the cleanest. There were never clean towels available & we had to ask for clean ones when we finally got a chance to use it. The sauna didnt work and again we had to ask someone to come fix it. The room was ok but overall 3/5.

Too noisy, backpackers, university
Too noisy, backpackers, university housing nearby and the guests at the hotel were having parties until the small hours of the morning. This went on most nights of our 11 day stay. We tolerated this for 10 nights but on complaint to the manager, the receptionist told me " it was a Saturday night and we should expect that!". Sorry, no way, at 10 or 11pm the gym should be shut and the hotel and balconoies checked and policed for undue noise. Some people like to sleep or have an extremely early plane to catch.

It was great except that parking
It was great except that parking was only available through a valet service which was an additional $25 - parking should be free or included in the original price.
