Stayed two nights. Short walk from everything. Right next to Polynesian spa. Hotel has bit of a dormitory feel, staff are always eager to help. Great value, but breakfast was a bit expensive and ordinary.

Good Value
Everything was fine. Room clean. Service good and friendly. Just know you are near a sulphur lake/spring and that the closer you are to the lake the stronger the smell will be. We stayed in the very back, a bit of a walk but worth it. Would return to the value. Overall very satisfied. People that complain about the smell should be ignored. It's sulphur spring! You have to expect this.

Sudima Hotel, Rotorua, NZ
Sudima Hotel was two blocks from airport bus stop, next to the lake, and only about 5 blocks from the Rotorua Bath House Museum or the I-Site. Staff was friendly, helpful. We did have a sticky lock, and they gave us a new room. Rooms are good sized, beds are comfy and clean. We ate at restaurant twice. Meal selections are a bit limited, but very tasty. We booked a tour to Wai-O-Tapu Geothermal Park, and we're picked up right in front of hotel. Pretty grounds and no road noise. They have Maori dinner and show offered right at hotel, for those who are interested.

Rotorua Bath House Museum is well worth the admission price, which includes a guided tour. Very good combination of displays and movies and recreations.

Great hotel
The room was comfortable and the hotel was in a good location. We were only there for one night so I am unable to say more but in a nut shell I would stay there again.

Liked: being able to walk to town and thermal areas around lake; private spa pools (reservable for 30 minutes) Disliked: expensive internet that was very slow at peak times; small swimming pool; food

This hotel is very well situated
This hotel is very well situated on the Lake edge and walking distance to city centre. Our room was quiet as we were at the back without a view. All staff were very helpful and we enjoyed our weekend break.

Great location, and setting with
Great location, and setting with lovely views of the lake from our room. We enjoyed our three night stay here very much, and would return again. The service was friendly and efficient, and the experience was excellent from beginning to end. Thanks so much.
