Looked great on the web page. Great location, beautiful views, tidy unit but no washing facilities as were advertised and had to pay for internet use when web page said free internet.

The hotel was basic at best.
The hotel was basic at best. No more or less deserving of its 3 Star rating. If you are not looking for anything more than a bed for the night then it is ideal. The location is excellent, within walking distance of all the cities main attraction, including the Westpac stadium. The room advertised a full kitchen, however I did not class a mismatch of cutlery, plates and glasses a full kitchen. The cleanliness also was not great. As said, if all you are after is a bed for the night in a good location, then the place is fine. Do not got there as a place to relax, or to cook yourself a meal - my advice pay a little more and go elsewhere.

Very noisy room but we were moved
Very noisy room but we were moved when we complained. The beds are very bouncy. A lot of noise from the corridor as well as the street. This hotel is very convenient for theatre going. Good place to stay during the festival of you can put up with the limitations. Cooking facilities in our "studio" room consisted of a microwave and toaster only. Probably better to pay more for an apartment with a view and proper kitchen on a high floor away from the noise.

The 2 bedroom apartment was reasonably
The 2 bedroom apartment was reasonably spacious for 4 people but there were only 2 dining chairs & not enough lounge seating. Otherwise well situated, clean & comfortable. Would stay here again.

Room was smelly and stuffy, probably
Room was smelly and stuffy, probably as you could not open windows due to howling winds. The kitchen was very small and lacked utensils etc. The fan in the kitchen was noisy - even when it wasn't turned on. There was a lot of street noise outside each evening and it was small and cramped. The room service was lacking also. We had to park our car at the sister hotel down the road and pay $20 per night for the privelage of parking in a very tight spot and getting soaked to the skin just to get to the car. I would not bother staying here again.

Very good central location, within walking distance of all city attractions, close to buses, supermarket, shops, restaurants. For a "1 bedroom apartment", I was expecting more in the way of kitchen facilities - there was just a cupboard with microwave, bar fridge and a few dishes - not even a tea towel. Although I was located on the 7th floor, the apartment was quite noisy, with strong winds howling at the windows and through the bathroom extractor fan. There was also noise from youth congregating at all hours outside the 24 hrs McDonalds just across the road.
