Overnight stay
I love Manila Hotel! My first time to be in that hotel. The transportation service was great, they were there to pick me up in the domestic airport and was also ready to take me to international airport the next day. The check in was slow but I came in early and the room was not ready. Otherwise the staff was friendly and helpful. The buffet was expensive but food was great. They don't have an extensive gift shop. The room assigned to me was great!

Very friendly staff, service good, food good. General stay very good recommendation: paint the building, as it looks VERY dirty it is like good food in a poor packaging: that doesnot work; I have been staying at Shangri-La, Marriott,DIamond, New World Makati, staying away from the Manila because of it's poor appearance; Further, the live music in the lobby is nice but too loud !! this should be back ground music no party band !!

One of the Elegant Hotel in Manila...
It was an impressive and very elegant hotel...I stayed at Manila Hotel for 2 days and we enjoyed the elegant ambiance inside the hotel itself, from hotel lobby up to our room...even hotel staffs are all nice and very accomodating... they are very helpful...although hotel transport is a bit expensive, atleast there is an assurance that you can reach your distination safely. The Hotel itself is just across the Manila Ocean Park and few minutes drive to the nearest Malls like Robinsons Place Malate and Mall of Asia. I would absolutely coming back to MAnila Hotel on our next holiday to Manila!!!!

The Manila Hotel
The Manila Hotel is lovely and very centrally located for touring the city. It continues to have musicians every night, and sometimes singers in the very large lobby. The main restaurant has recently been refurbished and is very nice with a large buffet available for every meal or you can order off a menu. There is shopping nearby. This elegant hotel continues to please us with friendly, helpful staff.

Great hospitality
We stayed in Manila for 3 days before heading off into the country for a 10 day tour of the various beautiful islands. Our stay here was very relaxing. The room was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was great bringing us complimentary bottled water and fresh fruit every day. Security was very good here as well. We felt safer than in most US hotels.

Classic elegance in the heart of Manila
Historic and elegant. Personal service abounds, someone in Filipino dress even escorts you to your room. Music every night with a small orchestra.

Feel the history
One can feel the history and elegance of this beautiful old hotel from the minute you enter the grand lobby. The spacious rooms follow through on this feeling. I encountered hot water supply problems and they blocked connection to the AT&T operator and the desk would also not connect me. I do not return to hotels that pull this cheap trick to squeeze a few more dollars out of their guests.
