Wentzl Hotel Krakow

Great location, friendly staff. The hotel is peaceful and private despite being on the square. The room was the nicest hotel room we've had in Europe.

It was perfect, you could walk out the door and be right in the center of everything. Music, Restaurants, flowers and people watching. All of the staff were wonderful and very helpful.We attended a concert in the town square and loved shopping in the market.We walked to the castle and visited a lot of churches to see the beautiful art work all on foot. The best was listening to the trumpet coming from the tower every hour.We wouldn't stay anywhere else if we ever return.

This is an excellent hotel right on the main square. Rooms in the front have a wonderful view of the square but are noisy. Our room was at the back and very quiet and peaceful. It had a small balcony with a couple of seats - the view was not the best, just roofs and the back of buildings. The staff were excellent-very cheerful, helpful and accommodating. They booked excursions and restaurants, offered advice - nothing was ever too much trouble. Strongly recommend this lovely old, characterful hotel.

The location of the hotel is great, right on the town square. Who needs television, when you can peak out the window at all of the entertainers on the square. However, at bedtime, you'll want to close the windows so those same entertainers don't keep you awake. The room was beautifully decorated, and very comfortable as well.

What a fantastic hotel in a fantastic location! Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff, the room was splendid, breakfast very creative and delicious, a truly great experience. Price/quality ratio very good. Highly recommended.

We looked at many hotel possibilities, and only this one had that perfect location right on the huge Market Square. I assure you that staying just two or three blocks away at one of many other hotels will not give you the same Krakow feeling or experience. The staff was terrific, and the "free breakfasts" were extraordinary with a menu of hot food items to choose from, in a plush dining room -- so elegant I could not believe it was free, but it was. It's also an easy walking distance to everything, and easy access to buses for the Auschwitz tours. There is so much to see and experience right on the square. Wentzl is the only place I would stay in Krakow. The wireless Internet worked perfectly, and the staff loaned us an adapter for the European plugs so we could recharge our laptop with our American cords. It was all so easy.

Die Zimmer sind ausgesprochen individuell. Auf Grund der Zimmernanzahl ist das Hotel nicht mit Menschen überfüllt, das Frühstück kann in einer sehr angenehmen ruhigen Atmosphäre eingenommen werden.

Verbleven er zeven nachten, en kregen waar voor ons geld. De ligging kan niet verbeterd worden, en het vriendelijke personeel was echt in de weer voor dat tikkeltje meer. Géén enkele negatieve opmerking, maar we zijn dan ook géén muggezifters. Géén lawaai, en perfect geïsoleerd. Heel proper, en tweemaal per dag verse handdoeken, badjassen, en mineraal water aangevuld. Het ontbijt was gevarieerd, lekker en fris, warm en koud, en voldeed zeker en vast. We zijn dan ook heel tevreden, en kunnen dit hotel aanraden aan iedereen. Wij zouden er in elk geval naar terug gaan.

Superbement situé sur la grand place de Cracovie (Krakow Rynek) permettant de se rendre à pied aussi bien à la gare, qu'à la galerie commerçante principale et à toutes les attractions touristiques; chambre parfaitement équipée; petit déjeuner buffet parfait pour commencer une visite à pied de cette merveilleuse ville.
