Stellar service at Stella Maris!
We had a lovely surprise when we entered this hotel, albeit early (11am, check-in not until 4pm) and we were welcomed warmly by the the receptionist. She allowed us to use the full facilities of the hotel while waiting to check-in. The food in the restaurant area is excellent, service was good, and the hotel had a great atmosphere to it. The pool is well maintained and it was quite warm, not too much chlorine either which was a bonus! The hotel is very well run and kept and I will be returning to this hotel next year.

Stella Maris
The stay was fine but the pullout double bed was broken i reported this on the day we arrived Saturday and they said they could not fix it until Tuesday they sent us two single pull out beds but it meant my wife and i had to sleep in seperate beds, Tuesday came and went we ended up sleeping on these two single tempory beds for the week. not happy it was our wedding anniversary on the monday 23rd and my wifes 40th birthday on the Friday. What are you going to do about this ? Please let me know. Thanks.

Best value I have ever experienced!
I shared this room with one friend and one inpromtu visitor. This hotel offered more than enough space to relax and unwind without the usual lack of space found in all previous 4 star hotels i have stayed at throughout Europe. The hotel was reason enough for me to revisit the area. The hotel was perfectly placed between Albufeira and Vilamoura.

Hinta/laatu kohdallaan
Huhtikuun alussa 2013 vietetty viikko Stella Marisissa oli hyvä. Hotellin sijainnin kannalta auto on suositeltavaa vuokrata, jolloin liikkuminen helpottuu. Toki jos haluaa 800m rantaan vain kävellä ja lähiravintoloiden tarjonta riittää, ei autoa tarvinne. Itse liikuimme koko etelä-Portugalin alueella paljon, joten auton vuokrasimme Avis:n kautta. Hotelli siisti ja uudehko. Hotellin wlan ei toimi 4-kerroksen huoneissa ja ostinkin Vodafonen Prepaidin datasiirtoon (1e/1h). Allas on sopivankokoinen ja siisti myös. Hotellin ravintolaa emme käyttäneet. Huone oli isohko (60neliötä) ja sisälti 2 parveketta. Keittiöstä löytyi hellat,jääkaapit yms. Tiskiharjaa ei tuolla maassa kyllä tunneta edes kaupassa vissiin kun emme löytäneet :)

Vilamouraan kannattaa mennä. Lagos myös ja Faro. 30min päässä Algarve Shopping Centre joka on melkoisen iso (löytyy myös Nike Outlet)

Ideal für Familie mit Kleinkind
Wir (Paar mit Kleinkind) verbrachten diesen August drei Tage im Stella Maris in Albufeira. Die Zimmer sind ruhig, grosszügig ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Das Hotel verfügt neben Schwimmbad und Planschbecken über mehrere Spielplätze und ein etwas ruhiger gelegenes, speziell für Kleinkinder eingerichtetes Schwimmbecken mit Rutschen etc. Wir haben unseren kurzen Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Einziges Nachteil: Zum Strand sind es gute 15 Min. zu Fuss.
