Great Hotel
The hotel was not crowed because we visited in November which is off season. The room was a decent size and clean for the most part. Though, the carpets could have been steam cleaned. Hotel Cascais Miragem provided a daily complimentary breakfast buffet that is better than most buffets that I ever eat at. The staff was friendly and even gave us a bottle of port wine on our last night. The views of the ocean were amazing from all over the hotel. This hotel is located is the city of Cascais which is about 25 minutes away from Lisbon. There is a commuter train nearby that you can travel on to take you to Lisbon (cheaper than taking a cab). The town of Cascais is a nice touristy city, with a decent amount of restaurants and shops, but the best restaurants (in my opinion) are beyond the tourist traps. My wife and I enjoyed our experience at the Hotel Cascais Miragem and will return the next time we travel to Portugal.

Excellent location! Great Staff! Beautiful Serene surroundings!!!
we stayed six nights at the Cascais Mirage and I would stay there a million times over. The only complaint was that the pool was not open and they didnt advise of it on their website. other than that, the experience was perfect! I am a very fussy traveller, eater, etc. and very rarely find something that i can rave about, however i will rave about this hotel! the food was amazing, the staff was welcoming, courteous and beyond helpful, the spa was beautiful, the hair salon downstairs was quite convenient and fairly priced and the location cant be beat! the surroundings help you to escape from the busy city but close enough (25 mins) that it is extremely accessible. I would reccommend this hotel for any traveller.

when in portugal, watch the prices on the seafood. we went out in the city for lobster dinner and ended up paying a 360 euro bill as it was sold by the kilo!

Terrific Hotel
The hotel itself could not be much better. Extremely freindly and helpful staff, beautiful lobby and pool area. Large, comfortable rooms and terrific fitness center. The breakfast buffet is fabulous.

just a half a mile walk on the same side of the road as the hotel is a Jumbo store - like a Walmart. It's a great place to buy groceries, electronics, etc.

Beach vacation
The hotel staff were wonderful,friendly and helpful in every way. We were delighted with the pool service but the busy highway and distance to the under highway tunnel made beach access very disappointing but not impossible.

Beautiful and glamorous new hotel
Relaxed at the pool, massages at the spa, sat on beautiful balconies overlooking Atlantic. Lots to do if you want. Concierge/front office staff is very helpful.

Very Very Nice =)
A very spacious hotel with a very interesting decor, mixing old and new. The staff was very friendly, room was almost too nice and fancy and the breakfast bouffet abundant and tasty.
