No Waiting for Taxis
Fast organized check in. Clean room. Confortable good size nice bathroom close to Taxis, resturants,10 minutes by foor to mall 7 minutes to super market pizza hut next door..NO free wirless.

Stayed again at the Barcelona; as before, very pleased. Web price outstanding. Rooms very comfortable. Ample eating opportunities nearby; metro access; taxi rank next door; churches. All told, if there is a good bargain price available on HotelClub- GRAB IT; you will not be disappointed.

A serviceable hotel, clean and
A serviceable hotel, clean and very quiet. The problem is that there isn't much to do in the vicinity, apart from the Gulbenkian Museum, so one has to take the underground to get anywhere. The underground station is close, but for a city break perhaps a hotel where you can just walk out the door and be somewhere interesting would be better. The price, however, was excellent.

clean & spacious + genuine helpful staff
Nothing seems too much trouble for the patient helpful staff and indeed this seems to be the case with all their countrymen we met. There is no hotel restaurant but there is an excellent large cafe opposite with lots of hoice and lovely staff.

Huge and excellent Spanish big name department store El Corte Ingles is a short-medium pleasant walk away. Useful for shopping as the portugese do rather than as the tourists do.

Perfect Location
I just needed a place to stay overnight before catching a flight the next morning. For what I paid I didn't expect the level of service that I received.

Convenient location
Like the location, close to metro. Breakfast was surprisingly good, lots of varieties; however, was the same each day. Most staff were friendly except for a particular night front desk, was not too patient, helpful or courteous. When we checked out, we were charged for the breakfast even though it was included in our room rate. Nonetheless, it was rapidly resolved after we showed the booking which indicated breakfast.

My review of Barcelona
Hotel barcelona was 2 blocks away from Metro, and the Metro was very easy with only four lines, so getting around was no problem. At the hotel I had a little problem with the drain in the bathtub, but they fixed it immediately. Things happen, they handled it well. Full breakfast buffet every morning. Overall, very good for a European hotel.
