First Time in Lisbon
I had a wonderful experience at the Altis Hotel, in Lisbon. The staff was congenial, ready to assist without hesitation. I was impressed with the check-in experience. The bellman assisted with carrying my luggage to the room and stayed to show me how everything operates and what/what not to do. This is so important when staying in a hotel in a foreign country. The staff was helpful in organizing my tours. I am so glad that I did not book them on line. I saved money and was able to get a private tour. The breakfast buffet was very good with a variety of European favorites. Do not expect an all American breakfast. The juice was fresh squeezed and the fruit was always fresh. If you have a night on the town, just be aware that they lock the gates after 1:00am. I had to bang on the door to be let in. All in all the experience was exceptional!

Short walk from hotel
Shopping in Portugal caught me by surprise. Your Euros can go a long way. This is one of the least expensive countries to shop in.

Great location
The location is fantastic to spend time touring in Lisbon. Staff was very helpful and polite. With the breakfast included, it was a good deal. The bathroom was modern but on the small size.

L'hotel est tres bien situe et
L'hotel est tres bien situe et est d'un bon confort. Seul bemol, le service est assez moyen, voire catastrophique pour le petit dejeuner. Il manque un vrai management. Nous avions reserve 2 chambres, au check-in il n'y en avait qu'une dans leur systeme. Dans l'ensemble, l'hotel merite plutot 4 etoiles que 5.

Altis Avenida Lisbonne
Très bien au niveau de l'emplacement géographique et de la gentillesse du personnel. Par contre, rien pour se divertir dans cet hôtel pourtant 5*. Le SPA est dans un autre "Altis", et il n'y a aucune navette le soir entre ces hôtels pour nous ramener si on voulait dîner à l'autre Altis Belem par ex. Par ailleurs les 10% sur le restaurant n'est valable que le 1er soir. A Porto, on avait 10% à chaque dîner.

Si vous aimez le bacalhau ( morue ) allez chez" Joao da Grao", c'est frais, bon et peu honéreux, ainsi que chez" Fernando" dans le quartier de l'Alfama.

Finnish middle age couple
Maybe not a 5* hotel but a good 4*
Spent there 5 nights. Super Location in every respect for a city break. Breakfast quality good but for some reason every morning sausages, scrambled eggs and other "warm" food is not warm but lukewarm.

Sehr gutes Stadthotel
Sauberes, modernes Stadthotel in bester Lage in Lissabon. Frühstück im 7 Stock bei schönem Wetter auch draussen auf der Terrasse, mit Blick über die Dächer von Lissabon möglich.
