One of our Boutique Collection Hotel in Lisbon

What a great location. The staff couldn't have been nicer, everything, including the breakfast was great. The staff made great recommendations regarding dining, sightseeing, and assisted us with personal needs. This was a 5 star hotel on a 4 star budget.

The Hotel Lisboa Plaza is a quiet attractive hotel tucked one street away from Avenida Liberdades and steps away from the Avenida Metro Station. We were able to travel quite easily throughout the city via the public transportation system. Many restaurarants were located in the area and our favorite was Solar Dos Presuntos. We stayed at this hotel upon our arrival in Lisbon and then again upon our return to Lisbon. Our first room was comfortable, but small. It was adequate. The amenities were a definite plus. Upon our return to Lisbon, we were given a much more spacious and comfortable room. Very pleasant. A nice experience at the end of our trip to Portugal!

Wonderful experience, in line with just about everyone else who stays here. A little out of the centre (but that suits visits to Belem) but public transport is quick, easy and cheap. Beautiful hotel (As Janelas Verdas) with lovely library and fantastic balcony with view over Tagus river. Helpful and knowledgeable staff.

The hotel was beautiful! It's situated just off a major boulevard, surrounded by high end shops, close to subway, and within walking distance of the Baixa, or old town Lisbon. The staff was etremely accommodating and very eager to help with dinner recommendations, taxi arrangements, or help with transportation to nearby sights. The included breakfast was extensive and fresh. The rooms were beautiful and immaculately kept.

I booked 4 nights in Lisbon at the Hoteis Heremitage. I didn't check properly when I booked, so thought I had booked at a hotel near the pedestrian zone, which would be in a comfortable walking distance from where I was going to spend my four days. Hence, I was a little disappointed when I got my hotel confirmation at hotel next to the castle: The Solar do Castelo. But what a positive surprise!. Solar do Castelo was better than home away from home. I would go there anytime. I don't think I have ever met such a friendly staff. And the amenities there are just fabulous. Solar do Castelo has an inner courtyard with a fountain which is so relaxing and beautiful, that I spent a lot of time their working or just relaxing.

We took a bit of a risk on this heritage hotel offer, and we feel we got lucky with the Britania. It is right near the metro, and a short walk to Baixa Chiado. The hotel was smaller than we expected, but our room was large, comfy, and quite lovely. Breakfast was copious and well prepared. And the port or cherry liqueur offered in the evening was an elegant touch. We would definitely stay here again. Another of their hotels down the street looked equally attractive, if more modern in style.

I booked one of the potluck hotels in the Heritage Boutique Collection in Lisbon recently. There are five hotels in this group and mine turned out to be As Janelas Verdes (Green Windows). This is a small but superbly managed pensao in the Lapa District of Central Lisbon. The location is in a quite residential and embassy neighborhood, and while not ideally located, affords easy accessibility to public transportation. The hotel itself is a converted former residence of a 19th century Portuguese writer and is furnished throughout with period pieces. I found the staff to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The pensao is very comfortable and serves an excellent buffet breakfast. While it does not contain a dining room, there are many very good (and reasonably priced) restaurants within either walking distance or a short taxi ride away. I highly recommend the hotel overall comfort and value.

This was such a terrific hotel. The staff was terrific, location couldn't be better. I so enjoyed my time there. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to have a outstanding trip to Lisbon. I did

Through [...] One of the Heritage Hotel's promotion, we were fortunate to get the Janelas Verdes Hotel, a very small intimate hotel in a historic building situated a short bus ride from the city centre and also a very short bus ride from the Lisbon Conference Centre. We were there for a one week stay. The hotel had lovely common space including a living room, breakfast room, outdoor terrace and a large library with balcony on the third floor with a beautiful view of the Tagus River. Staff was polite, helpful, and because of the size of the hotel (about 29 rooms) very personal. Breakfast was lovely including freshly squeezed orange juice with very flexible hours and was included in the price. Our standard room which faced the back of the building overlooking the terrace was very quiet. It was a good size and nicely furnished. The bathroom was also large and had a bath with shower option, toilet, sink and bidet. Public transit is very good in Lisbon but if you prefer taxis, they are quite affordable. Having read the reviews of all the Heritage Hotels I felt I could chance the promotion because all of them seemed good and well located. It turned out that the Janelas Verdes was in the best location for us since my husband was attending a conference. I would highly recommend the Janelas Verdes Hotel and taking advantage of the great deal offered by [...]. I could not find any offers that came near to it.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at the Heritage Liberdade -- thanks to [...]' great price deal. This is a gem of a hotel, perfectly located in the heart of Lisbon -- walking distance to Bairro Alta, Chiado, Rossio, etc... In a restored herb merchant's mansion, each room has soaring ceilings and wonderfully appointed furnishing, respectful of history yet totally modern. The staff is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Lovely breakfast served until noon (!!!) in the lobby, with plenty of nearby restaurants to make up for the fact the hotel does not have a restaurant.
