Great Save from a disaster
What a difference from the horrible experience of a 3 star hotel known as Value Hotel Nice. I almost left Singapore. This hotel saved me by providing nice, clean, comfortable accommodation at an exceptionally convenient location. The only drawback is no free Internet access.

We stayed here on a 2-night stopover
We stayed here on a 2-night stopover in Singapore. The room was really lovely, clean and spacious and complete with an I-pod docking station! In general the service was great but the service in the restaurant was only average and a couple of the wait staff had only very limited English. The hotel is undergoing renovations at the moment so unfortunately it means their pool is out of action - you can get access to the YMCA pool nearby but it's not quite the same :( Also meant there was some noise from drilling during the day which was a bit annoying when we were in the room during the day.

Extended my initial stay of 5 days to 9
Great place to saty and right in the heart of Singapore. Walked almost everywhere, taxi is cheap, staff very freindly, corteous, and will definetly book there again in February.

Close proximity to Orchard Road
Close proximity to Orchard Road and Close to Dhoby Ghaut MRT. The service at the hotel is not upto the mark though. The AC was not working as it should be. The Card Holder Slot played up and would not accept your Card. The hotel Interior was not exact as shown in the pictures but you need to see for yourself. Internet was stuffed the wires plug into the Slot but they dont work as expected. The charges for the Internet Access if you manage to get it connected through the LAN Port is Steep (26$ per day). Overall the hotel is average. Would probably look at other hotels for my next visit/Stay

Slightly above average
$26 Sing dollars a day for slow internet connection is an absolute rip-off. The mattresses were really hard. The location is great, and everything else is good about this hotel!

The hotel was in a great location. There is a coffee bean right on the corner. The staff of the hotel were extremely helpful and went out of their way time and again when we needed something. My only problem with the hotel was that the rooms are TINY. Theres not much space to move around. The beds are also extremely small and pretty firm. Otherwise we had a great stay here
