Barcino Hotel Barcelona

Good location and some staff members very helpful but most seemed vague and busy. The beds were very hard but bathroom was nice. Definitely not 4 star accommodation but good for the special offer prices.

paid 90$for night stay in perfect location in Gothic area few blocks away from the ramblas.

Hotel is in a great location. Easy access to the Trains and Airport Bus. Can Be noisy outside the rooms at night. Beds were comfortable. Very Hot in the room!! No A/C! Most rude Hotel Staff I have ever dealt with. They hung up on us several times why trying to ask them questions. Found some bugs in the Bathroom

Room was gorgeous and spacious. Needed wifi to get in touch with some friends and couldn't access from the hotel, so had to check out before I had anticipated. Location great near Las Ramblas.

Great hotel! 3 blocks from La Rambla! The room was great especially for the price!!! Air conditioning, nice staff, huge shower and bath. We traveled to 8 countries in a month and this was the nicest hotel out of them all!

This wasn't an awful hotel, it was just average. The outside noise is very, very bad, makes it almost impossible to sleep. It's in a great location, shops right outside the door, Ramblas just few blocks away.

This hotel is perfectly situated it is a 10 minutes walk to Rambla and the opera. Near everything and you have the metro 2 minutes away and lots of busses. The breakfast was very good and rich could have been more fruits for fruit lovers. The room was big as well as the bathroom had enough space. The only thing is that the safe deposit was not free you had to pay 1 euro/day which is not mentioned. Takes about 25 - 30 minutes by taxi to the airport.

I really didn't spend much time at the hotel and it was in the perfect location to walk and see the city. It was also right next to a tourist office.

The location was excellent, close to the Ramblas and information office. The room was extremely clean, and a good size with a separate closed off area for the bathroom, on the 4th floor overlooking the street. The only negative comment I have is the night noise from the street. We watched a parade from our balcony which was very enjoyable and that may have been a fair trade-off to the noise during the night. My wife and I are both undecided as to whether or not we would ask for a room away from the street.

Hotel Barcino accomodations were quite adequate as far as the room was concerned. The problems with which we had to deal were that our baggage was never delivered to our room from when we arrived at 9:ooam in the lobby, or when we checked in at 2:00pm nor for hours later. I had to go to the lobby from the upper floors by the stairway because the elevator did not come for over fifteen minutes. I had to take the bags (4) up to our room myself. We did not like the fact that the upper floor hall lights only go on for ten seconds by means of a motion detector. Minor things that annoyed us to some extent were the lack of a tissue box, a bar of soap, or a 110 plug or converter with which to charge a cell phone or camera battery. The location of the hotel was fine and very close to Las Ramblas, a very enjoyable boulevard with many shops, sidewalk cafes and street entertainers.
