Very friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them.The hotel itself was faultless,- very clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast was beautiful and set you up for the day. Would recommend this hotel to anyone on a sight seeing trip as its location is very central.

I really had experienced one of the worst hotel, one can ever be in, although the location is very good, but rooms had one window that you cannot reach to open ( you really feel your are stuck in jail), and when we complained in the second night they changed to another room where you can open the window, but still it has no aceess to fresh air. In addition to a very unprofessional, unfriendly receptionist that made things much worse a lady is called Meriam, she is really the worst immage of any hotel

I cannot say enough about the hotel's location and the staff are woodcut and helpful. There are a few leaks here and the though and you can really hear the person above when using the bathroom. Overall a gat experience and I would stay there again

Fantastic location , friendly staff made it a great long weekend hotel.

Hotel has a central location and is just a short walk to many landmarks and very close to all forms of public transportation. The hotel had excellent customer service, they even recommended a restaurant (The Attic) that was the great food and an amazing rooftop terrace located in the middle of Las Ramblas. The only downside was that the A/C wasnt working great so if you are going in the summer, this is something to keep in mind. The rooms were very clean and the premium rooms were nicely decorated. I would recommend the Hotel to anyone that wants to be right in the Heart of Barcelona without spending a fortune.

The location could not be better for three women traveling, close to everything. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet along with the entire hotel. The breakfast buffet had a large selection and enough to keep us going all day. But it was the front desk person, [...], that really made our day. He greeted us every morning with smiles and a laugh that would start our day. He went out of his way to help us with restaurants and things not to miss, but he really came to our rescue when we didn't have the correct adapters for the electric, just imagine three women without a flat iron, telephones, or Kindle. Thank you [...]!

Great hotel in a GREAT location just next to placa catalunya and in the heart of shopping area!!everything was excellent,the staff friendly and helpful!!totally recommend it if you want to be in the city centre!!i will go again to the same hotel sometime!!

the room was clean and recently renovated in eurostyle, but it was dark and poorly lit. however, our only real disappointment was that the window opened onto a skylight well, instead of to the outside. judging from the fire escape floor plan in the room, the hotel seems to have a lot of these interior rooms. the lobby and bar area were pleasant. the breakfast was very good, and was set up in an attractive (and heated) tent out in the patio. the location is very central and convenient.

We actually booked at this hotel in Barcelona, but their systems were allowing reservations when there were no rooms available. They had already arranged resevations for us at their other hotel which was very nice as well. We had visited this hotel and loved the lobby, it is modern and clean, awesome location, etc.

I liked staying at Catalonia hotel. Friendly staff and its location is excellent. However, I didn't like the fact that the safe is charged for 5 Euros per night plus a deposit of 50 Euro !.
