Mediterranean-style, hilltop apartments in the Sitio de Calahonda area of Mijas, 4 km from the resort centre and 15 km from Fuengirola. Guests can soak up the sun in the garden, and enjoy a refreshing dip in the outdoor swimming pool. This three-floor hotel features 38 apartments with simple, light decor and provincial pine furnishings. All apartments have balconies or terraces overlooking the gardens and pool, separate living areas and fully equipped kitchens with washing machines, microwaves and refrigerators. Check in is to be made at the nearby Crown Resorts Club Marbella reception.

El Porton Block 6

Accommodation, location and amenities were fine for independent travellers with their own transport. The balcony is snug. Equipment is just enough for 4. However, this block of apartments is no longer connected to the Crown Resorts which means, check in/out is done via Crown Resorts but El Porton does not receive any cleaning or service during your stay. (Washing machine walked when I washed the sheets!) It would have been better if this was made clear when booking the holiday. The staff at Crown Resorts gave mixed messages, as 3 separate enquiries resulted in different information from "yes you can use all Crown Resort facilities" to "Nada, you get nothing". I managed to persuade staff to let me leave baggage after check out for the last day. They hesitantly offered use of the facilites for the day - we did not miss out on anything.... El Portor had a better pool than Crown Resorts. Would recommend this place making sure the traveller is aware of the above.

A variety of supermarkets Lidl etc. Beach just past Andys beach perfect for families. Lots of Italian and familiar food places plus Spanish. Fish to eat in abundance. Don't go for nightlife. Very close to the main A7

avions pile poil aux heures ar voiture mieux que prevue rez de jardin au bord de la piscine d un vrai club habitation de palace,flore exceptionnelle parking prive securise,sejour de reve,bravo

Vi havde valgt netop det hotel pga. beliggenheden, men blev indkvarteret på toppen af et bjerg. Skulle selv betale en taxa fra hotellet til stedet, da der var for langt at gå! Ingen offentlig transportmulighed. Ingen mulighed for at ringe efter en taxa. Kunne derfor ikke gøre brug af tilbudet om morgenmads-buffet, internet, eller de andre faciliteter på hotellet, da der var en times gang dertil. Ingen indkøbsmuligheder på stedet. Når vi skulle på tur, skulle vi gå en time til hotellet for at blive afhentet af bussen. Der burde have stået, at man kunne risikere at blive indkvarteret et sted, hvor en bil var en nødvendighed. Der var intet personale på stedet, som man kunne spørge til råds.

Hôtel agréable

Séjour agréable particulièrement en famille. prévoir absolument un véhicule pour ce déplacer. Sinon le cadre est très beau. Ce qui manque est l'entretien plus régulier des appartements, piscine et gazon (déjection de chats). Pas d'interlocuteur de l'hotel sur place, dommage !
