Stylish beach resort in beautiful Fuerteventura with amenities galore
The Barcelo Castillo Beach Resort is a beautiful resort consisting of well-designed individual bungalows that offer guests privacy and independence combined with the benefits of a large resort hotel. The resort has three adult swimming pools and three for children, three snack bars and two restaurants, one serving buffet food and one a la carte. A program of entertainment runs in the evenings, and a mini club is available to keep children happy during the day and in the evenings. The wellness center offers a range of treatments.

Generally high standard, minor improvements needed
Lovely bungalow, grounds and pools. Side of cooker hood came apart on first use, although it could have been easily fixed, it wasn't. No cutting board or kitchen knives provided. Daily charge of 3€ for the safe and 3€ for each use of Wi-fi seemed a bit steep. Some staff were excellent. but there was one very grumpy one at reception. You can get breakfast and buffet dinner included for about 60€ a week, which is certainly cheap but we didn't take this up, because it ties you to eating from the same buffet all week, when you could be trying out some great local restaurants. Barcelo own the sea front spa where you get a discount. .

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
The Captain is an excellent restaurant going towards town on the same street as this hotel and you get 2 for 1 drinks from 1-2 pm and 5 to 10.30 pm. Also some good live music/ tribute acts in town. No 3 bus from airport is only 1.3€ whereas a taxi is 12-15€.

Could Be Better
Stayed in a 'superior' bungalow. If this was a superior bungalow I am glad I didn't get put in a standard one. The cleaning carried out was below what you would expect from such a reputable hotel chain. Food was plentiful & a good selection was available. We stayed half board but swapped dinner for lunch a number of times & visited a number of local restaurants as a change from the hotel dining room. Nice pool areas & plenty of sunbeds were available. Plenty of local bars to visit, as in the complex there was very few places to relax in the evening.

Super gewesen!
Zentral, viele Ausflugsangebote, Nettes Personal, schönes Ambiente! Die Lage war super, da wir ein Bungalow mit Meersicht hatten! Das essen ist immer einwenig dasselbe dafür Buffet! Es sind nur 11km vom Flughafen Taxi kein Problem und kosten ca 13-14Euro...

Gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis
Tolle Lage, direkt am Strand. Wir hatten einen Bungalow am Pool, auch wunderbar - und vor allem auch Meerblick. Wir würden wieder im Barcelo Castillo Beach Resort Urlaub machen.

Appartement Barcelo Castillo Beach Resort
Nous étions dans un appartement du Barcelo Castillo Beach Resort, la chambre ne possédait pas d'accès Wifi dommage de nos jours, la TV était de très mauvaise qualité et avait 2 chaînes Espagnoles le reste soit Polonaise, allemande Italienne. La cuisine manquait totalement d'ustensiles, logiquement utiles pour un appartement.
