Beachfront hotel keeps watersports fans and night owls equally busy

The Iberostar Playa Gaviotas is a solid choice for both beach lovers and watersports enthusiasts. The hotel is situated on the beautiful Jandia beach, a long stretch of golden sand that is perfect for sailing, surfing, and other sports. Within the resort itself, guests can try squash, table tennis, basketball, volleyball, archery, and rifle shooting, or swim in one of the hotel's pools (fees apply for some sports). In the evenings, guests are spoiled for choice with the Bowling Bar, the Corona discotheque, and a program of live shows.

Iberostar Playa Gaviotas Rooms

Accommodations are divided into 315 double rooms, 16 family rooms, four junior suites, two senior suites and 12 suites. All rooms and suites have air-conditioning, telephones, satellite televisions, fridges, a safe (surcharge applies), and bathroom with hair-dryer, and all feature a terrace or balcony. The family rooms consist of two rooms with an adjoining door, and extra beds can be requested for larger families. In the Iberostar Playa Gaviotas, suites have separate living rooms, and two of the luxury suites come with Jacuzzis. All have terraces with sun loungers and fantastic views out over Jandia beach and the sparkling sea.

Area description
The Hotel Iberostar Playa Gaviotas is located in the Canary Islands, set in an quiet tourist area of Fuerteventura next to the fine sandy beach of Jand¡a, some 25 kilometres long.

The small fishing village of Morro Jable is located 3 kilometres from the hotel and can be reached via the regular public bus service, as can Puerto del Rosario and Jand¡a.
