This converted 19th-century building is at the foot of Granada's famous Alhambra, 4 minutes' walk from Granada Cathedral. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and satellite TV.
Modern soundproofed rooms at Puerta de las Granadas feature wooden floors and have a minibar and safe. They are also heated and have a private bathroom with a hairdryer and amenities.
A buffet breakfast is available at the Puerta de las Granadas Hotel, and room service is offered. There are 2 computers which guests can use for free. Free tea and coffee are available during the day.

Terrific location
We we given a room on the top floor from which we could look out at the Alhambra. It was magical. The hotel is at the base of the most direct route to the Alhambra and just steps from the town center.

Visit to Granada
This is a lovely place to stay. The location is perfect, and the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. would definitely return and recommend. Room is small and compact but comfortable enough for the price, great staff, and location!

Walk to Alhambra
We found this a great location for visiting the Alhambra and seeing some of Granada. Very convenient restaurants. It was very much off season (December), so we got a great price and it was very quiet.

Quiet hotel in the heart of the action
This hotel is situated on the road to the Alhambra. Just a 12 minute stroll through a beautiful lane full of trees and you are at the entrance of the Alhambra. The hotel is right in historic Granada, with the cathedral, little plazas and great tapas restaurant. Nobody will disappointed in this place.

The door of the Granadas indeed!
Puerta de las Granadas does, indeed, provide the perfect doorway to so many parts of Granada, sitting as it does almost equidistant from the Alhambra, Albaicin, and Sacromonte, plus Plaza Nueva and the Cathedral, the areas of which hold all the shopping and restaurants you could possibly need on your visit. Great deal, great location.

If you plan on drinking anyway, make sure you do it at one of Granada's many genuine tapas bars, where you get free food with each drink! 3-4 beers and there's a whole meal right there.

cant beat location
Easy to get to form airport.or bus terminal ... a quick ride in the cab was 30 euros and a cab to the bus station was 5 euros ... The location of the hotel put us at the foot of Alhambra and got some great advice on the other things to do .. make sure you see the Alhambra from san Nicholas across the valley at dusk ... just a little up and down stroll from the Alhambra ... The night life is right there at the hotel The hotel amenities had wifi and an awesome view from the windows on the top floor ... The beds were firm but acceptable and the bathroom was divided by a frosted glass door ...perfectly fine for my needs ... Great value for the $ Enjoy

The tapas bar on the corner was awesome Go to a flaminco show in the cave and walk back stopping at the local bars afterwards to see diff sights from the peoples terraces.. everyone is very friendly and welcomes you openly

Close to Alhambra
Greeted by pleasant staff who notified us that our tour company contacted them. Our room was perfect, however the bathroom needs a new ventalation system and new shower doors. We were only in Granada for one night with Alhambra being our focus - the hotel is a ten minute walk down Alhambra with little shops to stops at on the way down. Also very close to Plaza Nueva and the Cathedral.

You couldn't find a better place in Granada
I booked this hotel because of it's location-- just a 7 minute walk from Alhambra. But it was also just a 7 minute walk from great shopping! The staff was very accommodating and friendly and took their time with each client. The hotel is small which gives it an intimate atmosphere. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

great hotel
The staff and location of this hotel nearby the Alhambra couldn't be better! Staff consistently were helpful and kind and we could easily walk to the Alhambra and cathedral. The room was incredibly small (no obese travelers here), but clean. A very, very long walk from the car park (you're not allowed to drive a private car in this part of the city), but once we learned the buses, it was an easy trip. We would definitely stay here again.
