Vincci Capitol

This was a great hotel, location and service. The people at the Front Desk were every so helpful. I had a dilema where my wallet was stolen whilst on the train and when I got to the hotel and advised them, they were ever so sympathetic and offered assistance and checked that we were okay up until we checked out. Enjoyed my stay immensely!!! Would recommend it to everyone travelling to Madrid.

Great location and surprisingly quiet given it is on a major street. Air conditioning so good we needed a blanket at night in August. Renovation has left it will a very contemporary almost boutique feel. Good internet connections when we finally got to a room that had a working cable. Would stay there again for the price and the location

This hotel was in the perfect location, it was in the center of Madrid, close to five metro stations which made getting around easy. Various restaurants and shops along the street of the hotel. Great for people who want to see the lively city of Madrid, especially at night. Walking distance to major tourist attractions, such as Palacio Real, Plaza Oriental, Plaza Mayor, Plaza de Espana, and much more.

had a very good large room - excellent service - excellent checkin with multilingual and effecient and very pleasant staff on the front desk. Willing to oblige with things like ice and extra glasses if you are entertaining. Mini bar is not topped up during the stay which seems to be a Spanish thing - ie you have to ask. Very well located in the middle of the Gran Via with amazing views from rooms on upper levels

great location to almost everything: walking distance to Plaza Mayor, shopping, plaza espana, and the other major plazas. easy access for the bus that will take you to Prado museum, and if you like the real Madrid stadium.

Located in centre of Madrid and perfect for tourist. Plenty of resturants and cafes close by, and recommend you go out for breakfast, a lot cheaper. Decor is modern and "weird", with lots of black tiles and walls "very art-deco", but highly recommended.

A perfect base to discover Madrid from. The rooms are ideal - comfortable beds and bathroom with bath and shower. If there was one improvement that could be made, it would be that the internet service offered would be wifi rather than a crude/clumsy and expensive (9 euro/day) internet by TV; though there is an ethernet cable offered for laptops, this is not wireless for smartphones.. but then Madrid has free wifi in the squares outside. It has a nice bar, friendly staff, 24hr reception where English is fairly understood and excellent 360 views of Madrid from the open patios on the 7th and 9th floor. There are too many great places close by, to have only hotel breakfasts.

We only stayed in this hotel for a night in Madrid, but I was pleased. It was around $150 USD, which I thought was a good price. The prepaid checkin process was seamless. The rooms, while not large at all, were comfortable, clean and modern. Same with the bathroom. There is a nice lookout on the 9th floor where you have a great view of the city and the Gran Via. The location is fantastic, very short walk to Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, etc. Wakeup call came when we requested. Overall pleased. Oh, there is no wifi, but they can provide ethernet cable which worked fine. It was long enough to sit on bed comfortably.
