A Perfect Holiday
Myself and my boyfriend have just arrived back from the best holiday either of us have had. We stayed at the Pollentia Club resort in a Village room (Superior). The Village rooms are set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens with generous balconies, beautiful views and are that bit mor spacious, and private that the standard Maris rooms. The staff at the hotel were fabulous. Very helpful, very courteous and a pleasure to deal with. We had some issues with the wifi connection in our room, and immediately our query was dealt with and we were moved to a room with a better connection (and a better view to boot). We stayed bed and breakfast. I'm always nervous of all inclusive because if you don't like the food on offer, you're wasting money. Plus i like to eat out when i'm on holidays. The breakfast buffet was bountiful. Tons of choice for different tastes. Cereals, breads, meats, cheeses, yoghurts, fruits, salads, pastries, hot food, juices, teas, really everything. The selection was so big, I had something different every day. The pancakes are cooked fresh each day and when they run out, more are made. My boyfriend got some fresh of the stove with a large queue behind him. Unfortunately they weren't quite done, which turned him off them for the remainder of the week. There are three restaurants for dinner and lunch and we ate lunch as a tester on the first day of our holiday. This was the test as to whether we would eat dinner there or venture out to Alcudia (about €5.50 in a taxi). We ate in the Aquarius grill. I got a toasty, ham and cheese. For 5euro it wasn't great. The cheese wasn't melted, the ham was barely there and the bread was just about toasted. That put a bad taste in my mouth so we ate outside of the hotel every evening for the remainder of the trip. It was only on our final day when we decided to eat lunch there again. I ordered a pizza and it was delicious. Very fresh and very tasty. A drastic difference from the toasty. We are talking about going back to the same resort next year, and I may be swayed to go half board. I still like the option of eating outside though. But it's nice to know that the food is nice if you want to stay inside. One note I would make is that if travelling All inclusive, note that there are certain exceptions in this resort. We noticed that certain alcoholic drinks carry additional costs as do some of the ice creams available. For example if i want a certain whiskey and i'm not staying All Inclusive, I pay 5.50. However, if i'm All Inclusive, i have to pay 2.00. Some of these additional costs are small, but i'd consider All inclusive to be just that, where everything is paid for. I can't say much more on this as we didn't personally experience it, but it's something to consider if you are planning an AI trip. All of that said, thank you Club Pollentia. You made the perfect holiday for us! We will see you next year.

Great location for a family get-a-way. Food and staff were great, and the pool and night activities for children were awesome. Just a short drive from the popular beaches and shopping. The only downside that we had, was the lack of sleeping arrangements (crib) for younger children.

Not sure if it is every night throughout the year, but every night that my family stayed at Pollentia; there was dancing and singing for children by the pool area. Which made for a great night of laughing and watching them wear themselves out.

Not bad
Location is good from a cycling perspective since there were great routes close to the hotel (both hilly and flat terrain) and the hotel was full of cyclists and triathletes. Downside is that the hotel is by itself (in between Port of Pollensa and Alcudia) so if you want to eat somewhere other than the hotel or explore town then you have to travel 2 - 3 miles away. There is a local bus but I opted to bike to Port of Pollensa about 3 miles away which was a hassle especially with rainy skies or a long bike ride earlier in the day. Pros: 1. 25m pool (not heated though so some people including myself wore a wetsuit - 73 degrees when I was there in late April). 2. Close to great cycling 3. Bike hire is right at the hotel and the bikes were great (carbon with Ultegra available) 4. Rooms were clean 5. Breakfast was good and was included (buffet but not Spanish flare) 5. There was a small refrigerator in the room (Maris one bedroom). Cons: 1. You had to enter a lengthy wi-fi username and password each time you login - annoying 2. 25m pool didn't have a timing clock, no black lanes painted on the bottom or walls of the pool (hard to do flip turns since it was hard to see the wall) and no flags above if you want to do backstroke. The lane lines were cheap and were mainly good to separate the lanes but not for decreasing the waves of other swimmers 3. I had dinner there once and thought it wasn't very good. It's catered to a German crowd (mostly Germans at the hotel). Therefore, don't expect to eat any Spanish food if you're staying at this hotel. 4. The beach right in front of the hotel isn't one you would want to spend time at since there was about 15 feet of sand separating a fairly busy road and the sea. Also, there was seaweed. 5. The hotel decor of my room was from the 1990's and could use an update (I stayed in the one bedroom Maris rooms). Next time, I'll opt to stay in Port of Pollensa 3 miles north because there are plenty of restaurants available and it isn't as touristy as Port of Alcudia or C'an Picafort - both complete tourist traps (wall to wall souvenir shops, street vendors selling cheap items, horse drawn carriages - hardly anything that is authentic/indigenous to Spain and full of tourists). Note: when I visit a different country, I like to indulge myself in their customs, traditions and food.

Unique for all the best reasons
2nd time back, having enjoyed a great family holiday last year with our sons, partners and grandchildren my wife and i returned for a excellant all inclusive week, service and staff are superb with good food and branded drinks. Alcudia and Purta pollensa are a 10 minute bus trip away which are very nice family friendly resorts with lovely beaches as is Club pollentia.

Nicely Away from Grockle Utopia near Palma
My daughter & I visited Mallorca for the first time and went right at the start of the season, so the weather wasn't great but better than where we live! It was a purely exploratory visit. We each had a spacious room in Villa Alba with half-board and this was perfect for us.Hotel is worth its 4 stars, high quality of fittings throughout and the food (buffet for hundreds) was fantastic and great value. Only complaint was that the hot water took a long time to come through but not a problem. Very friendly staff everywhere! Should be noted that this hotel specializes in catering for racing-bikers in the early and late season but once you get used to their arrogant manner, also not a problem. We even hired 'normal' bikes from the hotel for a couple of days. Would definitely go again, the outdoor pool must be fabulous in summer!, a hire-car is highly recommended as the hotel is in the middle of nowhere but there are local buses to Port de Pollença and Alcuida, both charming towns.

All round........ not bad !!
Just returned from a weeks holiday at The Pollentia Club resort Mallorca. Enjoyed the stay, however one small critism, no Wi Fi in the room. Dispite what the hotel states on it's web site the Wi Fi just didn't work, unless you went to reception. Other than that a nice all round resort, great for kid's and located in a good position inbetween Alcudia & Pollenta Port towns.

Excellent rapport qualité-prix
