- The UR Palacio Avenida hotel is located on the Plaza de Espana, in the heart of the shopping area and of the financial district of Palma de Mallorca. Next to the majors banks of the country, it is also situated at few feet from the train station (estacion inter-modal) from which you can easily get to the UIB University campus or take the famous "rayo rojo" train to visit Soller or the port. Terrific location
Right next to the train station and across the street from the hop-on, hop-off sightseeing bus (15,00 Euros for 24 hours)! The lobby was beautiful, and the desk clerks were very helpful and fluent in English. I had a couple of issues (room key did not work, could not find the thermostat = room too cool), and the room needed some minor repairs (wall light loose, leaking bath fixtures, spots on carpet) - but the modern touch was just-right for me.

Roxy Cafe - about 15 to 20 minute walk - was a real jewel! We were in town on Sunday and looking for early lunch. Darian at the Roxy Cafe cheerfully accommodated our group of 15 people with no prior notice, and his English was outstanding. The two waiters were friendly. The food was very good, and we tried almost every tapas option on the menu. This restaurant was the highlight of my overnight stay in Palma de Mallorca, Spain!

Very warm welcome and good assistance
Very warm welcome and good assistance from staff, before and during stay, full board was booked and dinner moved to alternative hotel as this hotel was hosting owners sons wedding. There was heavy mold on the bathroom ceiling, and round some of the fittings which was a great shame. I doubt if I would return which is a pity as the staff made us more than welcome

Very good location for getting
Very good location for getting to anywhere else around Palma, and for getting to the University. Despite the busy scene outside, the room was quiet. Stylish rooms, imaginative features and free Wi-Fi, excellent reading lamps, this hotel served our needs very well.

Gute Stadthotel
Das Hotel ist sehr zentral in Palma gelegen. Die Inneneinrichtung ist modern und zweckmässig. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Hotel bzw. das Zimmer liegen direkt an einer stark befahrenen Strasse. Der Preis von 90€ pro Nacht ohne Frühstück ist meiner Meinung nach etwas zu hoch. Jedoch alles in allem ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Ideale Lage für einen Short-Trip
Wir verbracheten ein Frauen-Weekend auf Palma. Die Lage des Hotels ideal, nur ein paar Schritte zur Bushaltestelle (Abfahrt sämtlicher Buslinien), knapp 20 Busminuten zum Flughafen, ein paar Gehminuten zu den Altstadt-Lädeligassen, 10-15 Gehminuten bei gutem Tempo zur Kathedrale, Passeig Maritim, Yachthafen. Waren mit dem Zimmer sehr zufrieden, trotz zentraler Lage gute Nachtruhe, Lage zu Hinterhof, auch das Frühstücksbüffet entsprach unseren Erwartungen.

-Caja fuerte ei toiminut, eikä korjausta viikon aikana tapahtunut, vaikka luvattiin. -Kylmävesihanoista tuli joinakin aamuina myös kuumaa vettä. -Sänky oli iso ja leveä, mutta epämukava. -Parveke oli iso "käytävä", josta ei nähnyt ulos. +Iso ja valoisa huone. +Tilava ja siisti kylpyhuone. +Aamiaispöytä. +Kartat ja opasteokset. +Sijainti Placa d'Espanyan vieressä, lähellä bussipysäkkejä, bussi- ja juna-asemaa ja Ferrocarril de Sollerin asemaa. +Lähellä El Corte Inglesiä.

EMT:n bussilla 1 pääsee ihan hotellin viereen ja vierestä lentokentältä/-lle. Kaikki muutkin EMT:n bussit pysähtyvät Plaza de Espanjalla.

sehr zentral gelegen, hatten jedoch am ersten abend Probleme mit der Klimaanlage und dem Wasserdruck in der Dusche. Wenn nochmal Mallorca, dann ein anderes Hotel

überbewertet
Wir haben für ein Wochenende gebucht...länger wär ich auch nicht geblieben. Einzig die Mitarbeiter der Reception haben einen super tollen Job gemacht. Frühstücksbuffet langweilig, Zimmerservice lausig (verschlissene Handtücher, Duschgel etc. nicht aufgefüllt, Kissen nicht bezogen uswusw.), 2 Tage hatten wir saure Milch beim Früstück und einen ignoranten und selbstgefälligen Kellner....Katastrophe. Ist die 4-Sterne nicht wert
