Unhappy fuerte guest
Overpriced and awful
What looked like a promising venue was not. Horribly small room, not room for two people to stay in comfortably. When you are paying $300 a night, there has to be some amount of luxury. Staff unhelpful. fuerte has rip-off written all over their name.

We paid extra for a sea view room. All we got was a view of a tree. The staff was not friendly or helpful.

Take a short taxi ride to Puerto Banus. There are shops, restaurants, and night life. The views are spectacular and a great place to people watch.

The hotel is situated right on the Mediterranean with access to a multi-kilometer promenade along the sea, lined with a variety of restaurants and lots of shopping. It is a short walk to Old Town Marbella with lots to explore, shop and eat - one can easily spend a whole day there. Tour buses pick you up at or near the hotel - we took day trips to Granada, Seville, Tangier (Morocco)and Ronda. For those who wish to do minimal sightseeing, the hotel has plenty of amenities for working out, rest, and relaxation. The breakfast buffet is Great! We found the staff to be very helpful.

Very nice hotel in a perfect location
Very nice hotel in a perfect location in Marbella,just on the beach and 5 min from the old centre . The staff was very hospitable and nice always greeting and smiling and helping. plenty of things for breakfast next time when we go there we will stay in this hotel again

My husband and I have stayed in this hotel on many occasions, and have returned repeatedly because of its location and the fact that it is principally still a typical Spanish hotel. Many Spanish people travel from around the country and stay here.My advise on booking would be to ask for a front seaview room with views over the Mediterranean(5th floor preferably), and on a clear day you can see as far as Gibraltar and the Straits It is overlooking the Paseo and the Beach, with direct access onto the paseo and Beach. The gardens are very well tended, with two pools and plenty of loungers and parasols, it would suit families and couples alike.The Morning Breakfast buffet is very good, with a large choice!Lunch taken in the garden is ok!!Dinner is to be taken in one of the many and varied restaurants along the paseo, Restaurant Santiago, Da Bruno(on Fridays live operatic arias)and if you want something special a short taxi ride to Villa Tiberio!!

Sijainti ei voisi olla parempi
Kaikki toimi paitsi pätkivä langaton netti. Palvelu oli ammattimaista ja joustavaa. Ammupala- ja päivällisbuffetit olivat tosi runsaat ja kala/pihvikokit osasivat asiansa. Vanhakaupunki on melkein nurkan takana ja rantakatu heti edessä, joten autoa tms. ei ostoksille tai rientoihin tarvita. Golfkenttiä on vaikka kuinka monta lyhyen ajomatkan päässä. Pysäköinti on kallista, mutta hyvässä ja suojaisassa parkkihallissa.
