Enjoy Gulhane Park; walk to Istanbul's famous attractions

I liked this hotel!
The staff were wonderful. The breakfast on the roof was generous. The rooms were comfortable and the bathroom was big. The location is fantastic, only two blocks from the Sirkeci stop of the tram way. And a short walk to Sultanahmet. The staff speak English well.

My wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. On entering this small hotel the scents, the colours and the cool calm atmosphere welcome you instantly. Breakfast in served on a roof terrace . The Staff are the true stars. This is favourite "MUST VISIT" hotel we can't recommend it highly enough

Istanbul's best
You never know what you're getting when you rely on other people's reviews, especially when those reviews contradict one another. So, I knew I was taking a chance with Gulhane Park Hotel in Istanbul's old Sultanahmet district. The chance paid off. This hotel could not be better! The staff was friendly, professional, attentive and helpful. Bayram, the front desk clerk, was the best ever. He seemed never to sleep, always at his post both morning and night. Yet, he was always friendly, smiling and helpful. The hotel is more than clean. I've never stayed in a hotel anywhere that was cleaner. There weren't even the usual signs of wear and tear. Best of all, the location could not be beat. We were within walking distance of everything, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Spice Market, and water front. I would definitely stay at Gulhane Park Hotel again and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Istanbul.

Our Best Vacation
Something special about this hotel, The staff are very friendly and helpful , We had a feeling that we knew these lovely people forever. This is a family run hotel and there is a feeling of extra care went in to it., and and it is safe and sound. We would highly recommend this hotel.

A Very nice hotel and wonderful Location
A very nice,clean and a wonderful hotel to stay in for a holiday.At a perfect location. It was very easy for me to move a round and do some shopping and have a walk by the beach. All means of transportation to get to other tourist sites are available. The also staff are friendly and helpful,especially the manager himself,[...], who i saw him attending most of the time to assist his staff and hotel guests. Someone else who deserves be mentioned as one of the most kind and helpful hotel staff-for all guests i've seen-is Tuna. All other staff were nice and kind.

tres agreable hotel
We spend 4 nights here. All highlights are within walking distance. The tram for longdistance is also nearby. Nice and very big rooms, good service, breakfast was complete and lots of choice at the terrace with excellent view. Although there was a real handicap room available, it was very well manageable with the wheelchair. Also thanks to the great housekeeping staff and Manager [...]

A must see holiday destination
The location of the hotel couldnt of been more perfect, it was so convenient for us and most attractions was a 5 minute walk away. The hotel itself was great, apart from the roadworks infront of the hotel that happend to be going on whilst we was there. We didn't use the hotel to the best of our advantage as they did have a few offers on the sauna and the gym was included for free in the package deal. Staff were friendly and always at hand to help if you needed anythink.

good hotel in istanbul
Gulhane Park is a very good hotel; I'd be glad to stay there again my next time in Istanbul. It's in a great location, within easy walking distance of a lot of the old-city attractions like Topkapi Palace and Aghia Sophia. It's also close to the tram and bus lines. My room was smallish but tastefully furnished and relaxing. The staff were excellent--attentive, helpful, and very focused on customer service. No problems at all.
