Old City hotel offers traditional and theme guest rooms

Just a short walk from Gulhane Park and other nearby Old City attractions, Ipek Palas features traditional guest rooms and one-of-a-kind theme suites. The building has been a hotel since it was erected in 1889. The hotel is in Sirkeci, one of Istanbul's most historic areas. Nearby attractions include the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Museum, and the Basilica Cistern. There are also several public transportation options within easy walking distance of the hotel.

Es war sehr schön da sauber, und es ist Turistenviertel was mir sehr gut gefallen hat. Es ist sehr Zentral bist mit U-Bahn in 3 min in Taksim. Personal ist freundlich . Aber bucht lieber ohne Morgenbüffe war nicht sehr abetitlich. =)

Hotel hielt was es verspricht

Obwohl eine Baustelle gleich neben dem Hotel war, war es doch recht ruhig. Das Restaurant im obersten Stock hatte zwar eine wunderschöne Aussicht, jedoch war das Essen nicht wahnsinnig speziell. Ich würde das Hotel weiter empfehlen.

ipeak-hotelli yllättävän hyvä valinta.

Hotellin sijainti erinomainen todella ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta, aamupala todella runsas monipuolinen ja maittava.Kauniit yleistilat,ravintolat.Huone oli aika pieni,mutta kyllä siinä toimeen tuli.siisteys huippuluokkaa.Voi suositella lämpimästi. yllättävä

bon hotel , belle situation

TOP-Lage und freundliche Bedienung

Das Bestechende an diesem Hotel ist seine Lage. 10 Fußminuten zur Hagia Sophia, 10 Min. zu den Anlegeplätzen der Bosporus-Schiffe oder zum Ägyptischen Basar, 15 Min. zur Blauen Moschee oder zum Topkapi-Palast. Dazu liegt das Hotel direkt in der Ibni Kemal Cad., einer reinen Fußgängerstraße, in der sich div. ordentliche bis gute Speiselokale befinden. Keine 5 Min. entfernt ist die Straßenbahnhaltestelle "Gülhane"; von dort kommt man in ca. 40 Min. für ca. 2 € (Umsteigen "Zeytinburnu" in die Metro) zum Flughafen Atatürk. Weiterer Pluspunkt ist das sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal; hervorzuheben ist hier die deutschsprechende Ruveyda. Die Zimmer sind sauber und ordentlich, ebenso das kleine Duschbad, an dem allenfalls das sehr kleine Waschbecken und die fehlenden Ablagemöglichkeiten zu kritisieren sind. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ordentlich; es gibt Brot und Toast mit Wurst, Käse und Marmeladen, Eier, auch Rührei und Bratkartoffeln, Müslizutaten, versch. Yoghurts sowie Tee u. Kaffee im Automaten und Kaltgetränke. Das Haus ist nicht hellhörig; Straßengeräusche sind aber von draußen deutlich wahrnehmbar, ebenso wie der morgentliche Ruf des Muezzins, was uns allerdings nicht gestört hat. Im Doppelbett liegt man unter einer gemeinsamen Decke.

Ca. 80 m Richtung "Gülhane" auf der rechten Seite das Restaurant "Pasazade": klasse Essen zu vernünftigen Preisen (20-30 TL) und sehr freundlicher unaufdringlicher Bedienung.
