Ottoman Hotel Park

Excellent breakfast buffet. Lunch and dinner menu not that good. Nice, clean room. I reserved a standard room, at my arrival the hotel had upgraded my room to a superior room with no extra charge. Very close to all the main attractions. I will definitely stay in this hotel again

A small hotel with narrow hallways. Rooms are a bit small but are well furnished and cozy. Plenty of lighting. Staff very friendly and makes feel at home.

It´s hard to define the Ottoman Park Hotel. For instance, it is important to mention that this is no 5 star luxury hotel, nevertheless, it is to be considered a GREAT PLACE TO STAY!! The LOCATION is very good. It seems unthinkable to stay anywhere outside Sultanhamed neighborhood, if yours is a vacation trip. The hotel is not located on the must clean or nicest part of the historical Istanbul, but it is definitely close to everything. In many reviews you´ll find comments regarding the uphill walk to every site. Nevertheless we used a taxi ride every morning to get there, and then a confortable downhill walk at night. Make sure you get back earlier than 10 PM as it seems unsafe to do it later. You´ll find groups of men drinking in the street and it seems safer to avoid that situation. The STAFF is ULTRAPOLITE, and always willing to help. The FOOD is just fine. Let´s say you wont find anything extraordinary, but every basic is there. For breakfast buffet; eggs, milk, coffee, bread, honey, jam and some cereal. The ROOMS are quite good for European standards. Sufficient space for 2 people and 4 big suitcases. :o) The most positive thing about this place, is a feeling of attention. You feel like there’s someone thinking 24/7, how could I make my costumers happy? Courtesy bottle of wine! Courtesy fruit platter, complementary Turkish delights..... No power adapter??? no problem, they have one for you!! Drawbacks: We found some urine stains on the WC. Internet was off for 2 days The driver of the shuttle service that took us back to the airport when leaving was falling asleep while driving!!! Scary dangerous!! We had just one small bottle of water as a hotel compliment during a 7 day stay...

Between the location, ease of access, facilities, staff, and extraordinary restaurant on the top floor, this easily affordable hotel is probably the best value in all of Istanbul. We had a GREAT time there, and extended our stay in the city mostly on the strength of this hotel's hospitality. I couldn't have had a better experience. The staff was beyond helpful, and the room itself was one of the best we've seen in our recent travels. The restaurant, however, is perhaps our favorite single feature of the establishment! Magnificent dinners and breakfasts! Highly, highly recommended.

The hotel is very nice. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and decorative. It had neatest shower we have ever seen...felt like you were being rained on. The included breakfast was also great and had a view of the water. The location is not great in the sense that there are not any other hotels in the area (it is a residential neighborhood) and the concierge initially told us a less attractive path for walking towards town than one we discovered on our own (walk towards the Four Seasons to get to the Blue Mosque rather than directly uphill out of the hotel). Overall, we were pleased with the hotel.

It's a nice hotel. Staff is outstanding. Location is fine if you don't mind walking on steep, uneven surfaces and climbing lots of stairs to get to tram which gets you quickly to the major sites.

I stayed over the weekend of Istanbul marathon when demand was highest for hotels near Blue Mosque (near finish line). I paid higher than this hotel is worth. This hotel overall a comfortable place. It is close by also Kumkapi a place where excellent seafood restaurants exist. That is a plus. Over all recommend this hotel.

Hotel is within ten minuets walking to most attractions, 5 minuets walking to tram and buses. Convieniant shops and restaurants liberally sprinkled around the streets of the hotel make for easy shopping. A bank is 200 yards from the front door. The staff bent over backwards to help us in any and all matters. Staff on hand to help with sight seeing and arrangments. Hotel has a hot buffet for breakfast with excellent service and dinner also. Very clean and classy, rooms were elegant and well stocked ie; fridge, blow dryer, toiletries, information, cable t.v., phone service. Good cellular reception. Extremely friendly staff.

Everything was perfect! Good quality for the price. You won't be disapointed.

Awesome Turkish experience with very freindly and ever-willing and helpful hotel staff at your disposal. Hotel is a bit far from main attractions (around 10 min walk) but higly recommended if you want best in class service.
