The Radisson Blu Residence, Dubai Marina

Surely not 5 star. Few problems with the room at the beginning, helpful hotel staff changed the room for us after we have told them the problems.

Hotel has good location and very good amenities nearby. Would recommend and will be returning again. Hotel is very clean and apartments are by far the best apartments I have stayed in, in Dubai.

Arrived to hotel at 6am after long flight from Australia, As expected our room was not available as check in time was 3pm, Front desk advised to us they would do there best to get a room ready as early as possible. True to there word they had a room ready and available at 9 45am .Also must mention as we were checking out 4,45am on the Sunday morning we asked if we could have this breakfast now , no problem they told us, please go and have breakfast , Overall superb service and extremely friendly staff, 10 out of 10 certainly be back, Thank you all.!!!!

Would be nice with at bar in the hotel Very nice and large rooms (2 bedroom app.). Staff is very helfull. Cleaning is OK but not more. Except that there are lot of construction in the area the location is good. Only 5 - 10 min to The Walk and the beach.

This is a great hotel in a great location. It is basically right on the marina, and just a short walk to the beach,(towels are available from the front desk). It is a little far away from the big shopping malls, but the the free shuttle is very handy. The Marina Mall, however, is very close. The room itself is spacious, and comes well equipped, just no microwave. Breakfast was included and it was adequate, not elaborate. We ordered room service the night we arrived, and that was the end of that, the food was very bland, but there are a lot of restaurants in the area to choose from. The wifi was also included in the price, which was nice. The staff were friendly and helpful, just don't try and get away with not tipping if they bring something to the room for you because then they will just come right out and ask for it. The tv was a bit annoying, as it takes many seconds to change between the channels. Overall it was a nice experience and I would stay there again.

The Dubai Marina is a good location for visitors who want to be close to the beach and water activities like the Atlantis Palm, Wild Wadi etc without staying in a resort hotel. The public beach and The Walk with its cafes and shops is 10 minutes walk away. Taxis are cheap and will take you to Dubai Mall and downtown in 20 minutes. We had a spacious and bright 2-bedroom apartment with pool view, which gave us as a family of four much more space and comfort than two standard hotel rooms would have done. The standard of beds, linen and towels was high, the rooms very clean. The predominantly Asian staff is very friendly, and helpful when it comes to making dinner reservations etc (necessary in many of the high -end hotel restaurants).

When we arrived we asked for an upgrade that was immediately granted. The hotel staff is superb.

This is our first time to Dubai and we have enjoyed the hotel very much. The staff is extremely helpful and competent. The decor reflects very contemporary European style design.[...] The hotel is dry.

It was a great experiance with that hotel but there was only two issues: 1- Breakfast in the resturant was very poor and very little choices. 2- Bathroom was small without a bath (The secret that the room was 607 and i figured out after checking-out that all the "07" rooms are like that and other rooms include bath tub).

I have been using Radisson hotels in Scandinavia and they have been great value. Unfortunately this hotel didn't live up to my earlier experiences. Hotel rooms were slightly worn, breakfast overpriced and another restaurant within hotel (Italian) medicore. The most disappointing were the view, we paid extra for marina view, but it was with the direct view to construction next doors. This also made it near to impossible to enjoy the pool area. The staff, especially at the concierge service were truly friendly and made the stay tolerable. Im surprised to see five star rating for this hotel.
