In need of make over
We were well aware of the hotel being a 3 star but this hotel is in desperate need of re-vamping. The decor in the corridors and the rooms was very tired full of scuff marks dirty paint work and the wallpaper was starting to peel back at the edges. The bathroom was really tired and patched of black mold in between the tiles and round the shower screen. The air conditioner was totally inadequate and this was an essential item as the room was internal with no outside window so it made sleeping very uncomfortable. There was also no usable socket for a hair dryer. All in all we would not return to this hotel.

Found a lovely Italian place called Cafe Citta. Only a small place so recommend you book but the food and atmosphere was really great !

Excellent location very short
Excellent location very short walk from train station and short walk to Cardiff Castle. Slightly longer walk to Cardiff Bay. We enjoyed our stay here and would use the hotel again.

Unforunately didnt stay due to illness, but you couldnt get a better positioned hotel for Cardiff City Centre with the new St Davids two and the CIA right on the doorstep.

Large clean room bit noisy as there was a nesting seagull on the roof outside. Next door to the main shopping centre. No free wifi access. Would stay here again.
