There is limited car parking available on site, and additional spaces close by at a multi-storey car park on Castle Terrace. There are three rooms in the conference centre, chic and stylish with light reflective black glass table tops and they all come with an impressive range of facilities; TV and video, projector, flipchart, fax and phone, wi-fi internet access, ice-cold drinks fridge, complimentary fresh fruit platter and snacks. The City Suite is perfectly designed for a medium size boardroom, or a theatre capacity for 70. A pleasant experience
The Apex City is in a good location. The room we were given was very spacious and the bath/shower area was very large. There was a lot of closet space as well. The towel warmer was a great plus. The hotel also provided free internet access and a wonderful selection of free snacks in the room. The staff at the desk were very friendly and helpful. There were also many selections for breakfast. Although we did not utilize it, the Apex has a sister hotel (only a couple doors down the street) which has a swimming pool, sauna, and steam room that can be used by hotel guests at no extra charge.

There are a few good pubs across the street. Great restaurants are also close by. The hop on and off bus stops right in front of the hotel.

The Apex City is located on Grassmarket
The Apex City is located on Grassmarket street almost directly beneath Edinburgh Castle. There is quite a bit to see and do within walking distance of the hotel. There are many nice restaurants and pubs within a short walking distance as well. it’s also easy to catch a cab or a bus to get to any place that you are going out of walking distance.

Requested 3 consecutive rooms looking onto the castle, and these were allocated without any problem. The hotel is very central and only 5 minutes walk to The Royal mile. The staff were friendly, knowledgable and very helpful.
