Overlooking Edinburgh's Holyrood Park, the 3* Masson House bed and breakfast is located on the Pollock Halls campus, just 1.5 miles from Waverley train station and many of Edinburgh's popular tourist attractions.

All rooms are en-suite and come equipped with LCD TVs with DVD players, tea/coffee facilities, safes and hairdryers. Shared pantry facilities include toaster, microwave, fridge, ironing board and iron and fridge.

Full Scottish breakfasts are served daily. Light continental options, fresh fruit and vegetarian breakfasts are also available.

Complimentary wireless internet access is available in all bedrooms and most public areas. Free (limited)

great weekend break

The hotel was nice value for money had a great stay however the bathroom was small could do with TLC the staff were great breakfast ten out of ten great bus links to the town however walking only takes 15-20 mins to town I would come again

good clean hotel

Breakfast was excellent never seen such a spread in any hotel,but saying that we did have a problem with the electric sockets in the room, they went off at 1640hrs, reported the problem to reception and when we returned at 2120hrs still not fixed,reported fault again and it was 2230hrs before it was fixed. the room was on the small side and the wet room small as well. But all in all very good value for money.

Clean and comfortable

The hotel is located in Edinbough University. We used GPS to locate the address but the entrance is hidden from another direction. Room is small but very clean and new and constructed like a high-end dorm. Breakfast is EXCELLENT-- traditional Scottish breakfast.

Des avantages

Un peu loin du centre ville mais proche d'un endroit idéal pour se balader. Le petit déjeuner inclus est excellent et permet un très bon rapport qualité prix.
