Travelodge London Feltham

Room in need of re-decoration and all soft furnishings were dirty. Staff polite and helpful. Easy commute to London and car parking at station close by cheap during the day to park, more expensive for hotel car park overnight!

Very close to the train station - 3-5mins walk, in the middle of a shopping centre, so good. The check-in experience was average, the guy at the desk seemed friendly though. I didn't like how they kept the card information receipt very accessible, had to type it in even after using the machine. I heard all the trains go by, my room window did not close properly and so there was draft into the room. Even though I was on the 6th floor, I could hear all the trains. the heater worked okay when on blast. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean too, except for the ceiling that looked wet. The mattress was not firm, the pillows were okay when piled up. No phones. The plug hole in the bathroom didn't work well, so all the bath water remained and then drained slowly leaving residues.

Thought this was close and convenient? No. This may be "nearby" airport, but NOT on any van or bus service to Heathrow. Fifteen pounds for a cab each way. In a shopping mall. Room was clean and fine, but NO phone, NO wakeup call. The staff was very helpful, but no bargain after paying for taxi.

We had an overnight layover and needed a place convenient to heathrow. The hotel is bare-bones: thin mattress, no clock, no phone, one person on duty. It's in a middle-class shopping center which provides a pub and supermarket. Transport to the airport is a public bus. It took about 45 minutes to get there including the wait time, which really isn't that much different than the airport shuttles you get elsewhere. One detail: We took a cab from the airport to the hotel, since we didn't know what bus stop to use. The cab driver was very frustrated with that. Apparently they wait at the airport for hours for a fare into London, and when he found out we only wanted to go to Feltham he almost kicked us out! Take the bus instead and get off at the Feltham train station. Take the overpass over the tracks and your at the hotel.

The hotel staff were very friendly and professional. The hotel was a great location if you needed to be by the airport. For London the prices were excellent. The entire hotel has no air conditioning so we were very hot during our stay on the upper floors.

It took almost an hour to get to the location on the airport bus, and had to do some serious walk from the bus stop to the hotel with luggages. Needed to make some phone calls after check-in but they do not have phone in the guestroom! Needed to have wake-up call in the next morning, but they do not have wake-up call service, nor an alarm clock in the room. I would tell people who want to stay at the Travelodge Feltham, to bring their own alarm clock. The owner of this hotel should be very proud of their staffs though because they were kind. Shops are nearby and convenient in this regard. Next time, I would try the capsule hotel inside the airport.

Great value for your money. No extras but thats how they keep the price down. It was clean and friendly staff. Located in a shopping center, and near Heathrow airport.

this hotel is a great value for staying close to the airport - it is located in a nice shopping mall so you can shop or get dinner without having to drive.
