Housed in an elegant Victorian building, the Hyde Park Towers Hotel a welcome retreat in the heart of London, and the ideal base for exploration of the city. Pleasant, convenient to everything
Because there was not a double room available for our first night, staff asked my daughter and I if we could be willing to take separate, single rooms for just the first night in return for a full English breakfast the next day. It was fine with us and gave us a chance to experience three different rooms. Each was clean, bright (window, and white walls), comfortable, with newer, fresh comforters and blinds, and much bigger than I had expected when reading about London hotel rooms. I chose it due to reviews that said it was a great location. How true! On a pretty, quiet street just 1 block from a street that for blocks offered shops and restaurants.One block from Bayswater and 2.5 blocks from Queensway tube stations. One tube stop from Paddington. Very hearty continental breakfast. We'd recommend it!

To save on dining, grab take-away food and head 3 blocks to Kensington Garden or eat at the Indian buffet in the hotel across the street -- very economical, delicious, clean.

Retired who love to travel
Great Bargain in London
Had a great experience at the Hyde Park Towers. Arrived early in the morning and we were told we could check in immediately to a room on the lower floor or wait for one "up stairs" We checked out the lower floor and decided to wait for the upper room. Had to wait about an hour, but still got in before noon. Rooms are small but extremely clean. Staff efficient and courteous. There were some Loud people on our floor one night, and I called the office and they immediately took care of it. Hotel is quaint--even the floors squeek-and we would definitely stay there again. Great location near Tube stop and shops and restuarants--including McDonalds and Buger King!!

small but great location
we love the location and the staff is very very nice.....but the room are very very small clean but old no AC..well london was in the low 70 so we did not need it anyway..i would recommend it ..if you just want a place to sleep and a good breakfast....

Good, comforatable hotel with good lounge / bar area to work from if necessary. Very handy for Bayswater and Queensway underground stations. One of very few London hotels where you can get a smoking room. I will certainly use this hotel again.

Excellent reception staff, minor issue in bedroom of wash hand basin plug not fitting, but no doubt repairable. Good quality towels and bed linen.
