First of all, our room wasn't ready at check-in time, which is a real disappointment at 3:30 in the afternoon if you are a weary traveler. Their idea of compensation for this major shortcoming was

Would recommend to a friend!
The hotel was historic, serving as a hospital during the war, now restored to its former grandeur. The ambiance was elegant without being stuffy. The rooms were huge and beautifully decorated.

We felt the hotel was beautiful and very high end... but for that price more should have been included. It felt like every time we turned around there was another charge for the littlest thing.

You are right across the street from the Marylebone tube station, which means you are only two short stops from Oxford Circus. If shopping is your thing, then the Landmark is well located, I suppose.

- The Landmark is perfectly situated directly opposite Marylebone train and underground station, close to all of London's main attractions and amenities. Marylebone is a very fashionable area with boutique shopping and only a short walk from Oxford Street. From Marylebone station you have National train service to Warwick Castle, Bicester shopping village and only a 9 minutes ride to Wembley Stadium. From the Landmark there is only a 5 minutes walk to Baker Street and Madame Tussaud's and the beautiful Regents Park with queen Mary's rose garden and London Zoo.
