Travelodge London Central City Road

when i read some of the reviews i was a bit undecided but had a good time it was clean and the food was very good and the staff were so helpfull will use this hotel againdo not listen to people who moan this is a 2 star hotel not a 5 star you want all the frills pay more and get it but if all you want is a nice hotel at a good price this is for you

Booked in here as it was only a couple of minutes walk from the meeting I was going to. Staff were very friendly, room was very clean and spaceous. Very comfortable bed and one of the best night's sleep in any London hotel. Food at the restaurant was very reasonably priced and had a very tasty pizza. tghe only negative is that there was only a shower (no bath) - but that is personal and for one night, doesn't really matter. And the shower cubicle was roomy. Thoroughly recommend and wouldn't hestitate staying again.

The only issue is provision of artificial milk instead of what comes out of a cow. Pointless, and it makes me ill. Everything else is very good

The bus links for this hotel just dont get better than this for the city,that didnt stop my other half making us cross over the road and catch the bus to find out we was going the wrong way an he use to live in london ha.Everything else was super clean an just about everything you can expect from a travel lodge all thats missing is a few more pillows we did ask for more an was giving them no problems we stayed two nights an enjoyed the all you can eat breakfast. super time watched a west end show walked loads an lots of sight seeing, cant wait do it again an would pick this hotel again no question for the price.

Overall this hotel is a good bang for your buck in London. The location was okay but expected for the price. The subway was close so it was still easy to get around. the staff was short and not very helpful. But overall it was a good experience.

it was just what i needed near liverpool station to look at flats and very near old st underground station and very well run

We were two couples with teenagers. Staff was very nice, the location perfect (you can use underground, it{s very easy), and service in general very good. I would recommend it.

Entering the reception we felt very welcome, they organized Musical tickets, iPhone charger, ... Shower is just ordinary, everything else was very good We can recommend this Hotel, price/value is good for London

Efficient book in, smallish lift, everywhere clean and well maintained. Large room

Clean tidy location, with food at reasonable price. Cheerful bar staff. Just to help with your service, on arrival our room had only two towels (small; & large). I requested the next morning a small list at reception, toliet brush, extra pillow, towels for 2, but request did not filter through to house keepers. Next morning I had to find house keepers in corridor and request direct to them. Only a small point but would certainly help to improve service. Many thanks Jackie Kitchen Will be returning in July/August to restart our seach for accommodation for my daughter.
