We booked as 2 adults and 2 children

We booked as 2 adults and 2 children in two twin-bedded rooms for a weekend. We were not advised at any time, either when booking or in person, that the children would not have the same access to all the facilities as the adults. However, we were asked to leave the swimming pool as children are only allowed in it between 2 and 5 at weekends. (We had not seen the notice.) This is ridiculous since we had paid the full adult rate for both of the children. I take it the company want to discourage families from staying there at all, as there is no such time restriction during the week ... when they are at school, anyhow! On Sunday morning when this took place, there were only 2 other people using the pool and my young people are quiet teenagers (aged 17 and 13), we were hardly causing a disturbance.

Children not allowed to use pool outside of a narrow window of time and not allowed to use games room. So not ideal for families. Otherwise very good.
