The hotel was average in all regards. Breakfast room could be a bit bigger as it got crowded and a little variety in the food would have been nice.

Service Issues

so so place to sleep
Modified a sleeping room into a eating space. Enough space for ten chairs three tables. Very sparse selection of breakfast items. One waffle iron two kinds of cereal a few muffins.

Very nice hotel!!!
I really enjoyed staying here for the night. THe staff was very friendly and the room was quite nice. I had a big King size bed and it was very comfortable. THe bathroom was a good size and I was very comfortable the whole night. I would recommend this to anyone. ANd it's very close to the University of ALabama.

THere are quite a few restaurants down from the hotel. IHOP, Ryan's, and very large Movie Theater.

Good deal for the price
I went to visit my son and his wife in Tuscaloosa and stayed at the Ambassador Suites for the weekend. The check-in/check-out was easy and quick. The room was nice and clean but had a slight musty smell. The continental breakfast was o.k. but I really enjoyed the quietness of the hotel and the central location. I would have liked a pool and fitness center but found the hotel to be a good value for the price.

There are some neat shops in Northport and an antique mall near the hotel. Also, the hotel is near the interstates so travel is easy.

"No home away from home"
We were visiting our son at UA. This is the third time we stayed at this hotel. The first time, you could hear conversations in the room next door. Second visit, somewhat better. The third and LAST visit, we awoke (12:56 a.m.)to a child running in the room above us.

Great experience
Had a question for the front desk clerk about the luggage cart, it was not there at the time, she took the time to find cart and called me when she found it. Did this on her own without my asking. Super nice staff, very clean and nice rooms, great continential breakfast in the morning and a great value at any price. I am very high on this hotel and will return anytime my travels take me back there. Our stay made this the best trip we have had. Made coming back to hotel stress free to decompress from day's activities.
