Microtel
Terrible, no elevator and I was on the 2nd floor. There was garbage in one of the drawers and molded towels in another one. The clock didn't work. The tv remote didn't work, but they gave me one that partly worked, but I couldn't get the captioning off. For what I paid, it was not worth it. I have a bad back and arthritic knees, so going up and down stairs was not good for me.

Unfriendly and unprofessional staff (smoking right outside the front entrance) Sheets and pillowcases smelled awful Drain in shower was broken - water up past my ankles before I was done showering

Bama Homecoming Game
Great location - just outside the city convenient to 59. Ruby Tues next door for drinks, Pizza Hut and Mc D for food. Nice free breakfast. Friendly staff. Inexpensive and all you need plenty of truck/RV Parking. Basic accomodations - no pool, gym, but who cares - here to party not hang in hotel room !

Staffing needs functional help in doing their job
checked in given room , went to room and some one was still in it--given another room placed my things in it and went to get a coke & key would not work to get back in...staff needs help!!

staff needs functional organization
checked in ,given room key, went to room & someone was in room, desk clerk gave another room , placed thing in it & went to get a Coke. Came back to room and key would not work -so went to desk clerk again

We sought economy and found it. However, we didn't expect such a small room encumbered by a small refrigerator blocking access to the bed, a remote that didn't work, a crumpled up list of TV channels, a slow running sink and an iffy toilet.

Great Value!!
The lady at the front desk was very courteous and helpful. My room was clean and I slept so good in the bed. The room wasn't large but it was just what I needed for my overnight stay.

Nice and reasonable
IF you're just looking for a one-night stay with a decent and clean room, this is your place. There is nothing special about the hotel, but it is easy to get to and the staff was extra friendly. Rooms are not overly large, but work well for the price.

Easy to find, got a great rate, very comfortable beds for a place in this price range; the property is average and typical, but it was clean and a great value. Would stay again.
