Had a great stay. Beautiful decor in the rooms. Took a long time to check in but I suspect the girl at the front desk was relatively new. A little overpriced but nice and close to the national park.

Worst hotel experience ever
Paid for a nonsmoking sweet Called then the day before arrival to let them know we would be chacking in late. Arrived hotel at 8pm, waited in line 20 minutes to check in. Was told no nonsmoking sweets left despite the fact that we prepaid for one. Offered a smoking sweet (have a small child with severe ashma) smoking rooms are not an option. Gave us a standard room with a king bed. There was no manager available when we checked in or out to give us any refund for the sweet that we prepaid for.

Disappointed
The room had been recently painted and dry drippings were all over the room. Construction mud hole outside of door. Restaurant over-priced and mediocre.

Good place
The position of the hotel is great, it is very close to the south entrance of the Grand Canyon. The room is clean but the facilities are old. And the price of the room is very high.

Clean, ok for rate.
Room was clean, however the bathroom is very small. The door opens into the bathroom and when you close the door it was hitting the light fixture on ceiling. There was a sliding glass door that opens to the woods which was Great, except they are remodeling and the construction crew could pick up a little more so its not so messy. There's a $50 non-refundable pet fee, which I think is a bit steep. (I thought I had seen it online for $20).

Conveniently located
This was the cheapest I found last minute and is very close to Grand Canyon. Right next door (walking distance in summer) is the IMAX place. At check-in the receptionist gave me a 10% off coupon which I used at the IMAX theatre. The walkways are outdoor (too cold when I was there), no other issues.
