Best Western Royal Sun Inn & Suites

The room was very clean and and the customer ervice by staff was acctually very high end. The free breakfast was good and free internet and parking was a bonus. The train was not too loud at all. However, I went there to study the day before a big test and my room was between two rooms with non stop barking dogs and a laate night drinking crowd at the pool. There was some efinite riff raff as patrons however not the hotels fault. They were great, I probably could have asked to move but was too beat.

Room was just fine. Karaoke on Thurs-Sat nights was fun. Free breakfast is diner-style. Train noise (some other reviewers commented on) was noticeable but kind of sweet. Never woke us up. Pool was clean, gym was adequate.

Close to the university and downtown in a safe neighborhood. Rooms are clean. The breakfast is mediocre (I went elsewhere after the first day) and the first day we were there the jacuzzi temperature was tepid, but they turned it up after I made a request. Forget about the breakfast, make sure the jacuzzi is warm enough when you get there (and ask them to fix it if not) and this place is a great value.

I liked the hotel room and outdoor ambience. Very nice to have a restaurant attached.

It was a good case of getting what one pays for. Convenient but unappealing location. Pool/jacuzzi was in good shape and warm. There's karaoke at the hotel bar, which was cute. Free breakfast was cute and in a real diner-restaurant. The train wasn't as loud as some reviewers said. Overall, a perfectly fine hotel.

When I checked in I was informed that they DO NOT SHUTTLE to the airport. One reason I chose this place. They will call a cab. I was irritated by this because I was staying alone. Room was great. The comfort of the bed was amazing! Room was very clean. No water pressure out of the sink. Only a trickle, and no hot water to shower around 3pm. when I asked about it the woman said sorry I cant help you, it is what it is. At breakfast only one waitress and no bus boy so tables were a mess and food was nothing to be desired. Location not the best. Satellite TV keep going out because it was windy.

Breakfast included at hotel restaurant excellent, ordering off menu. Great restaurant staff. Near busy railroad tracks. Noisy from trains. Sound insulation from people outside very poor.

We thought it was odd that there were earplugs by the sink, until the first train went by. It's less than a mile from the train tracks & they run on & off all night long & use their horns the entire time they're going by. The free breakfast in the restaurant is much nicer than the typical muffins & cereal at most places. Also the 2 for 1 drink tickets at the adjacent bar were much appreciated. Room was clean & comfortable.

The room is big enough and seems celn, the location is at the walking distance both the downtown and the University of Arizona which was important for me. Free breakfast and WiFi are also importnat. I'll use this option again on my next visit to Tucson.

The best Western Royal Sun is a simple, cheap place to stay. It felt reasonably safe, food was offered, and there was free Wifi. I would stay again if need be and the price continues to be good. If you are into running the canal path system is only a .5 miles away and goes forever.
