very nice place to stay for your buck!
Nothing wrong to say, cordial people, accomodating, response to needs like extra towels, soaps etc. was very fast. Friendly people, great free breakfast. Really relax and very good experience. I'm from orlando, fl. and went there to take my daughter for college tours and I would stay there again if need be in no time. Although it was in the outskirts of LA, is next to the freeway which put you there in 15 minutes. ps. LA is too crowded any ways.

Couple getaway
The European feel of the hotel, the fireplace in the lobby, and the nice staff are positives. It is right off the freeway, but across from a shopping center so the location is not the best.

Restaurant in the hotel was excellent. But if you want to leave the hotel, Salt Creek Grille is a good choice and is just down the road.

Unexpected find!
What an amazing display of art! Even the courtyard was breath-taking. And the free amenities only made it a sure bet we would be back!

2012 Annual Girl's Christmas Party
OMG!! It was fantastic!!!! We had a great time! The staff was so wonderful and the hotel decor was beautiful. Our christmas pictures are going to be great. We took pictures in the room with our holiday presents and the rooms were just like being at home in our rooms with family. The parking was free for all and there was a free breakfast fit for a queen. (girls)

LA Trip
I have nothing but glowing words for this hotel. Check-in was easy. I had a small wait while they got my room ready and even upgraded me since I had to wait. The receptionist was very helpful and answered all my questions. I had set up a tour and when the pickup time had passed they called the tour company to remind them they had a customer waiting to be picked up. Every time I came back to my room after spending the day exploring the city it was clean and neat. Clean towels were hung and the pillows were back on the bed. The menu for the in house restaurant was delicious and room service was quick and efficient. All I can say is I will definitely stay there again the next time I go to LA.

Orbitz customers are treated as 2nd class customers
The location was great, and the hotel was very nice. However, they treat orbitz customers horribly. My wife and I booked this hotel as a 10th anniversary getaway, and when we booked it we selected the "Deluxe Room, King Bed" option. When we arrived at the hotel (Oct 04, 2011) and I went to check in, the "Evening Front-desk Manager" looked at our reservation and then whispered to me, "Did you book through Orbitz?" When I replied that yes, I had in fact booked through Orbitz, he promptly said that I would not be getting the room that I had purchased because they didn't have any available. Whether or not this is true I don't know, but the parking lot had plenty of empty space in the late evenings. In any case, I asked him why none were available, since I clearly reserved and paid for the room in advance. He told me that it was because I had gotten the room at a discounted rate through Orbitz. I asked him, "So, even though I reserved the room a month ago, and I paid for the "Deluxe, King Bed" room, you are telling me that you did not actually hold that room for me, because I reserved it through Orbitz?" And he said, "Yes, that is correct." So I asked him if I was going to get a discount or something to compensate me for getting the lower-valued room, and he said "No, because you reserved it online and got a discount when you booked it, there is no additional discount for the changed room." When I accused him of using bait-and-switch tactics, he said "I promise it was in the small print when you reserved the room." No compensation or apology of any type was given. So, the long story short is that if you book through Orbitz, this hotel will treat you as a second class customer, and they will very likely give you a less expensive room than you booked, with no compensation or apology to you for it. Stay away from this hotel, if you value honesty and decent customer service.
