Hollywood Hotel - The Hotel of Hollywood near Universal Studios

Hotel was very convenient to airport, Griffith Park, and my daughters apartment. As I said earlier, no towel racks for we towels only issue. Continental breakfast is much more than expected. Eggs, sausages, and waffles.

This hotel was great. It was exceptionally clean, the rooms were top class as was the friendly and helpful service of the hotel staff. The hotel was in a great location, 5min away from the metro station, and only 10min walk away from some really nice, quaint cafe's and restaurants. I have no complaints about this place whatsoever, would recommend it 100%.

I had free tickets to be on a game show in Hollywood, so we decided to stay here. The employees could have been a bit more cheerful, but other than that, it was a beautiful, clean hotel. It was decorated nicely, had great smelling amenities, and was just overall a very pleasant stay. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Stayed there second time. Location is good, near to Hollywood and surrounded by restaurants. There is one Thai restaurant nearby with good Thai food. Hotel is basic with no wardrobe, bathroom is big though and bed is comfortable. Aircon is loud, when I turn it off, I could hear the aircon sound from next door. Could be noisy but we were exhausted so still could get sleep. Car park is chargeable.

I stayed @ The Ramada Hollywood Hotel at Vermont/Sta Monica. Two young receptionist (a boy and a girl) were very helpful. They helped me with every query I had. The boy also did his best to help me in an emergency I had...thank you

The hotel is perfectly located between two metro stations and there are also bus stops nearby,making it easy to get around. The hotel itself has a comfortable,relaxed atmosphere and the reception staff were always friendly and willing to answer any queries. The free breakfast was a bonus, served in a clean dining room with no feeling of being rushed. Althought the restaurant was being refurbished during my stay it was easy to order takeout or book tables at local eateries. The hotel laundry was good although i didnt use the dryer, i hung the clothes in the room and they dried quickly.The room was well equipped with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, alarm clock, hairdryer, iron and board. My only quibble would be the small towels and the lack of an overhead light in the room. Overall,I would recommend this hotel as a good value choice within reach of the main attractions but not in the thick of the tourist area.

For this trip we just needed something close to Hollywood. Even though the hotel says Hollywood Hotel it's not in Hollywood, but close enough :-) The staff was nice and professional. The room was clean. The bathroom was a bit small/cramped but served it's purpose. There was a vanity in the room that worked well for my girlfriend. The breakfast was very good with your standard cold items. Hot items included silver dollar style scrambled eggs, sausage links, and fresh made waffles. We weren't there long enough to use the pool. The beds were nice but firm. All in all a nice stay.

Parking ($20 a day but worth it) and hotel were secure which was nice after driving by other hotels we viewed in this price range. Breakfast area was excellent. Room so-so. Bathroom small. Basically no closet. No table or chairs (no room). No in room safe. Nice bedding and TV. Nice to have fridge and micro. Location pretty convenient to all Hollywood attractions. Take Metro to Hollywood Blvd and Universal Studios.
