Wilshire Grand Los Angeles

Hotel was clean, hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was terrific for me (close to Metro, bus lines, and the conference I attended). The price was also reasonable.

Great Location if you have the need to be downtown, great restaurants. Room was very small considering their write up says Spacious, Well-Appointed rooms, the curtains were falling off the track, the bathroom was extremely small, the sink dripped all night, the hallway smelled bad and was poorly lit, the toilet was in the most unusual spot (cut into the counter) but there was phone in the bathroom. I have stayed in nicer rooms for less money.

Offered half price if we booked two nights, had many choices of hotels in downtown LA but thought we would take advantage of offer. got there and they had to "find us a room" even though it was paid in advance. We waited awhile then went to our room. Very small, smelled, dirty carpet, 13 inch tv from the 70s all for $200. a nite. Felt we were baited and switched.

We liked the hotel, but the price to park is outrageous!!! $35 a day to valet park (that is all there is, no self parking). If we stay there again, then we will use the light rail or subway to get to the hotel from the car. The 7th street Metro rail entrance are right across the street. The room was nice, and clean, very comfortable bed.

Great business amenities, but i think they need to up-date their rooms, they are from the 80's!!!!!!

The Wilshire Grand has a staff that are very accomodating. From check-in to check-out, they were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and quiet. The temperature did not adjust easily to the temperature set, but, no big deal. I would recommend it to others.

The hotel still has the feel of the mid 1950, the wing my room was very clean but needs updating. My room furniture was old and damaged. The security and staff are well trained in Customer Services.

the Wilshire Grand has a great location in relation to the Staples and Convention centers both easily within walking distance. Every memeber of the staff I came in contact with was great very helpful and willing to help from the Maintenance Engineer who fixed my AC to the staff in Room Service. The only down side to my stay was the size of my room which was on the small side as was the bathroom. But it was clean and well kept up. I would have no problem staying at the property again if ever business took me to the area.

Good Clean hotel. Just across the street from the Metro station. I took the metro to the Dodger Game one night and the next to hollywood to the pantages theatre to see Wicked. It's also about 6 blocks from Staple Center. Yes, I would recommend this hotel.
