Wilshire Grand Los Angeles

A bit long in the tooth, and as inconvenient as anywhere else downtown, the Wilshire Grand is good if you can get a deal here. Otherwise, really nothing special.

I had an exceptional stay and property was conveniently located to all downtown attractions and across the street from the subway. Very affordable dining options for a hotel and great amenities such as the pool and fitness center.

I was very pleased with the hotel. I was surprised when I got a Suite with 2 double beds, a living room, desk AND 2 bathrooms. I couldn't have asked for more. The location was perfect, close to a lot of restaurants, shopping and hollywood and the hotel looked great in and out. The Valet was $30 for the day, which was convinient but pricey since I thought the parking came with the room. Either way, I plan to stay there again when I travel to LA.

They gave me a unclean room at the begining; The bed was used, toilet was full of used towel on the floor; Air condition was not working in the room and hall way on that floor. Then I had called to the front desk for it. They give me another room. The service are good. But the facility are too old. Toilet are small and looks old. mattress are too soft. It is a very good location in downtown area.

It cost 30.00 a day for parking and the room smelled, the linen was not clean. The TV was a 19inch and the picture was terrible. Tried to use the internet and it was not working, but they wanted to charge me for the attempt. The room was small and the bathroom was even smaller. I will never stay in this hotel again and do not recommend it to anyone.

The Hotel was easily located in Downtown LA and had all the amenities necessary for a nice Buisness Trip

Thw Wilshire Grand Hotel-Los Angeles was very nice for the area. We were on business,so the location was one of our main concerns. The only drawback was that the room was on the small side but was ample, clean,and comfortable. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I feel very safe there, and there are several restaurants in walking distance. I will try to stay there again for my next business trip.

The hotel valet was terrible. Reception was okay.

I liked my stay here. The room was comfortable, the hotel dining options great (awesome buffet breakfast), and the exercise facilities were excellent. I have allergies, so the fact that it was smoke-free plus the availability of feather-free bedding/pillows made the world of difference. The only complaint I have is that the walls in this place are paper thin. We got called on two separate occasions by other guests complaining that we were making too much noise, and, honestly, we were just talking (no loud music or crazy moaning or anything like that). Don't moan here...

The Wilshire Grand was a joke. The maids walked into my room without knocking TWICE and then I was disturbed by a knocking maid once. Prices for food were outrageous and by the way the Hotel Staff acted, things like losing important information and maids walking in unexpected were normal occurences. I do not reccomend it. Do not be fooled by the fancy lobby; the rooms are downright shabby.
