shabby and over rated at two stars
The hotel, while well situated, is tired and shabby. Cleaning carts, vacuum cleaners and other cleaning items were stacked outside our door. The refrigerator was not plugged in and we did not have time to wait for it to cool. It is over rated at two stars. At most, I would rate a one star

It was a good stay
It was a nice surprise to upgrade the room for a few more dollars per night to get the earlier requested rooms next to each other with connecting doors. Ramada staff said that [...] group of rooms didn't allow for that but Ramada did. Rooms were excellent, but the room service didn't give us the daily amt of coffee cups nor packets of coffee, nor plastic bags for the ice bucket. Overall the rooms were excellent, and for everything else the room service was also excellent.

Going to major entertainment places from Pasadena requires consideration to distance and also traffic along the route taken.

Decent place at reasonable price.
Nothing fancy, but they go the simple stuff right. Parking could be a bit of a problem. It is cool that they are trying to be energy efficient - so if you go here - remember that you will need to plug the fridge in yourself...

a lovely motel with friendly staff
The motel supplied a good free breakfast. And the staffs were very friendly. the two of them are a couple from Hongkong and they can speak mandarin.There is a food supermarket in walk distance.It is very convenient to live there.

OK only if you need a bed and a roof
For the price you've paid, you get a bed, a fleece blanket, a working heater, a funtional tv, walls only thick enough to block out talking and towels that didn't seem dirty (not clean either). It's OK only if you needed a cheap place to sleep at night because you'll realize you do not want to stay in the room.

Ramada Pasadena
Great, cheap place to stay around Pasadena. Sheets not changed on bed upon arrival, which was pretty nasty. Other than that it was good.

not bad for the money
At first I thought this hotel was going to be awful as my room wasn't ready even though they gave me the room passkey - went inside and the maid hadn't cleaned the previous occupants stuff yet and was way too small. But the office staff got me a new and bigger room and was happy after that. Nothing exceptional but a good bargain as it included a fridge and microwave and was quiet and close to everything I needed to get to in Old town Pasadena.

Clean, safe and recent upgrade
The Ramada was a nice Surprise. It was very clean and had been recently upgraded. We stayed there one night inorder to see a concert at the University which is only blocks away. We visited the Hunington Library during the day. The General Location was great and very close to the things to see in Pasadena. The specific Location is close to Car dealer ships and a busy street. You'll have to get in the car and drive around for dining options. Overall this was a great Value.

There are lots of great things to see in Pasadena. This hotel is is a short Drive to all of them. Pasadena itsself is worn in places an not a walking city. The attractions are spread out around the city. See the Hunington Library, The Gamble House and several Fine Musums. Check the university's concert schedule.
