Good value
Very nice hotel, with near luxury in rooms, and a nice complete breakfast in morning. Looks like the recession has caused problems in the neighborhood, but the hotel is fine, and easy access to the interstate.

Unreliable shuttle
Shuttle slow and unreliable; Breakfast buffet good, but juice dispenser often empty; Conference rooms often locked when needed, had to ask for drinking water refills; room's refrigerator noisy; avoid end units because of door noise

GREAT OVERNIGHT STAY
A NICE CLEAN HOTEL, EVERYTHING WAS FIRST CLASS. THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. ON THIS PARTICULAR MORNING, FOR SOME REASON, THERE WERE TWO BUSLOADS OF PEOPLE, AND THE STAFF DIDN'T KEEP UP WITH THE DEMAND FOR FOOD TOO WELL.

Discovery Park is just a couple of blocks from the hotel. Old Town and many museums are nearby as well. Lots to do in Sacramento!

it wasnt horrible?!?!
i thought that i paid for a suite; meaning one room separate from the kitchenette and "office" area... nope. it was studio. the laundry room wasnt the cleanest and there were no coin machines so bring a roll of quarters when/if you go. make sure you clean the dishes before you use them. make sure you are not a light sleeper because housekeepeing starts EARLY... 7am and you can hear the vacuum from the above room! make sure you ask for extra towels because housekeeping will take and not replace all of your towels - at least the front desk has them there.

disappointment
The people in the rooms around us were noisy. The rooms were decently cleaned, but not all of the lights worked, bathroom had mold and grime and was missing towels, one room was missing a chair, there were stains on the chair, holes in the blankets and cigarette burns in the tub (even though this was a nonsmoking room), and the room smelt as if someone was trying to cover up something. However, my family and I needed a place to stay that was cheap, and I guess we got what we paid for. We stayed at this hotel two times and our first experience was totally different. I guess it really depends what building they put you in.

decent
The staff was friendly. The room was spacious. Not all of the lights in the room worked, but it was overall a good bargain and very spacious. This room meet the needs of my family and some. Breakfast in the morning was a plus.
