Holiday Inn San Diego
I have recently stayed at a Holiday Inn in Conyers GA and it blew this Holiday Inn out it the water. This one in San Diego was confusing on how to get to your own room- any time someone has to give you a map and draw directions for you to get to your room your in trouble. The room has pretty basic but it had several visible stains on the window curtains, no pen or note pads, no bottles of water, and no menus or information about the amenities offered at this hotel. I paid $122 for a night but if I had gone for the Marriott up the street I would have paid $180 but it would have been worth it and more comfortable. Next time I won't be so cheap.

Quick overnight layover stay
Great response from the staff sending the shuttle to the airport. Staff was very helpful and location was close to various resturants. The room was clean and bed was comfortable especially after flying 10 hrs during the day. I would suggest this hotel in the future for individuals looking for travel freindly hotels from the airport.

What you'd expect
Holiday Inns are good quality places to spend the night. But I feel as if there can be room for improvement. Like the vents! It makes me so much so randomly. Please fix. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay & the location was convienient.

Returning from vacation
With the exception of the staff not being able to find the keys to a larger courtesy van & having to leave a family behind for a 2nd trip, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your hotel.

Excellent to visit the entire San Diego area
I was travelling with the family, and this hotel has it all. Great double queens with patio facing the pool, excellent restaurant, free parking located 10 minutes away from every possible San Diego attraction. We stayed 4 days and it was just the perfect choice. Hard to get this value. Breakfast at the restaurant is a la carte, and there are $10 deducted for each adult, kids are free.

The Lighthouse restaurant has the best bay view, the entire second floor faces the bay. Great place for a couple very produced fish dishes.

Nice place too stay!!
The hotel was a great value and was centrally located ajacent to san diego bay... the restaurant staff was very nice and cordial and the food was very good... The rooms were spacious and the maid service was very good at cleaning the room.. I would definitely stay there again

comfortable and clean
Staff were courteous and friendly. Appreciated the courtesy shuttle that was offered, even when some of our party arrived a day later, they were more than happy to pick them up from the train station. The location was quiet and relaxing.
