Good Hotel

I really like this hotel. My room was nice and neat plus the staff were professional and friendly. I would definitely choose this hotel again. Great price and quality!

Went Labor Day weekend (2009). I did like the hotel, it was small, but it was very clean. I just have two complaints: First, the AC dripped onto the carpet, so we put cups there to catch it, my 1st thought was "MOLD!", but it didn't smell musty or moldy in the room. My second complaint is that we had mosquito's in our room. I don't know where they came from, but I spent part of the weekend killing them off. The staff was friendly, and like I said, despite my complaints, the room was indeed very clean. I liked that the closet was deeper than most hotels I've stayed at, so it was easier to put things away before we went out for our daily adventures. The room also had a full size ironing board and iron, though we did not use them. There was also a hair dryer which I tried to use, but didn't work despite trying it in several outlets, but it wasn't important enough to me to get a functioning one. I liked the location. It was close enough to Union square, and it was easy enough to either jump on the BART or any MUNI bus to get us anywhere. It was overall an okay experience. Probably won't stay here again though.

My experience at the Good Hotel was GREAT! Great staff who are very friendly and knowledgeable about tourist and non-tourist attractions. Very good-looking hotel that is nicely "IKEA" furnished. Bed was very comfortable. Very short walk to all the Muni stops which take you everywhere in San Francisco so review the Muni transportation system and safe $$$$ instead of taking taxis and driving a car.

The hotes is very easy to get, friendly and quiet. well placed to visit San Francisco I'll suggest to all my friends that will ask me for hotel in S. Francisco

This was my 4th or 5th visit and I am very impressed with the renovation. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I find it very convenient and you can't beat the price. I will be back next year.

Friendly and helpful staff. When they found out we were first time visitors to the city they gave us awesome advice on where to go and how to get around with public transportation. There wasn't a alot of stuff in the immediate vicinity of the hotel but a ton of stuff within a short walk or busride away. Loved how environmentally conscience the establishment was.

I really like the hotel. The ubication is great but the 2 blocks around the hotel are not so nice. Very pleasant experience

The staff was very friendly and helpful. One of the people on the housekeeping staff helped me park my car in their unbelievably tiny parking area, and seemed genuinely surprised when I gave him a tip. However, before we found the parking area, we had to park two blocks South of the hotel where we came across some scary, disgruntled strung out people. there were less going in the opposite direction. I grew up near S.F. and have been there hundreds of times, so I feel that I am a fair judge of the city. But we would definitely stay there again- small room but very clean, and the bed was amazingly comfortable.
